Koikaze 13 (END)

Read after you watch (unless you like spoilers). Thank you :)

I won't go into too much detail here. It's not a very conclusive conclusion. I guess Koushirou and Nanoka live happily ever after... I'll have to read the manga and see if anything's different. I was expecting something a bit more dramatic and not so... happy and cheerful.

Koikaze is a very good show, but unless you're comfortable with the sis-con subject matter I wouldn't watch since it is pretty intense at times. And also pretty darn realistic as far as the characters go, Koushirou especially. He struggles with all these feelings he has -- for himself and for Nanoka -- as best I could imagine a guy in that situation would. However, I still can't approve of his decision, especially after the end of episode 12. That's definitely not right in my book.

Given what happened then, and the "happily ever after" (I'm guessing) ending in the last episode, I really wonder what Geneon's going to do with Koikaze over here. Like I've said, it is a good show, but the sis-con stuff is touchy.. We'll see, I guess.

As for other parts of the show.. I really liked the visual style. It's straight from the manga and looks great in the same "old-school" way that Twin Spica does. The animation quality was good for the most part but did decline in the last few episodes, but it's nothing to really complain too much about... As for music.. fitting at most times, pretty good. Nothing really stands out to me, though... Opening and Ending were both pretty good and fit the show well.. And I have to mention the Chidori ga Yuku preview segments at the end of each episode. Koikaze definitely gets some points for orginality there. Having each character confess something or the other then get punished in various hilarious ways was a great idea :)

Well, that's about all I have to say for Koikaze. I'll be back when I can read more of the manga and see how it concludes :)

It some months ago now I've watched Koi Kaze but I can just tell you that was no happy ending after all. There are many signs their relationship is going to end, for example the cherry tree, in which they carve their names...it's going to be chopped down; Nanoka makes him promise they will meet in the park every year from now on, but it will be closed...there were many more signs, but I don't remember at the moment *drop*
I really liked that show and thought much about it *lol* Just to make you think it over again ^^
