#45 - Sakura and the Final Clow Card & #46 - Sakura and the Final Judgement
No screencaps this time because they would have been very spoilerific ;) These two episodes bring season 2 to an end.
Sakura finally faces the last of the Clow Cards, EARTHY. It's a bit tough to defeat, but she manages to do it with Kero's help. Now, having collected all of the cards Kero can return to his true form (which is very cool!). But now the time for the Final Judgement and Yue has come...
Suddenly, Yukito changes into Yue in front of Sakura and the rest. Yue first fights Li, but he doesn't put up much of a fight.. Then it's Sakura's turn.. it's exactly like the dream she's been having.. And this time she is in real danger. She doesn't want to hurt Yue, but Yue mercilessly fights Sakura. Sakura tries to use WOODY, but the attack is reflected back at her and she can't move.. She's lost.. and now the catastrophe is explained.
Everyone.. everyone involved with those with the Clow Cards will forget the person they love most. Sakura drifts into a dream where that's happened. It's a world without much joy...
Suddenly, a bell rings out, and Sakura comes back and breaks free. Mizuki-sensei used the bell made by Clow Reed to give Sakura a second chance to fight. Sakura now has the will to fight, and her wand changes into one with a star on it. She captures Yue and the catastrophe is averted... she then sees Clow Reed... then returns back to where all the others are at. And guess what? Touya was watching the whole time.
And that brings season 2 of CCS to an end. It's interesting to note that for those of you who are reading Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles that what happens in there is exactly the catastrophe that was averted in CCS, only this time affecting one person. And that's why it's so sad sometimes ;_; The "There are no coincidences in the world; there is only certainty" line is repeated in there as well.
Anyways, I'll be getting underway with season 3 (with carefully selected screencaps) tomorrow.. well, actually it'll be later on today since it is late now ;)
