#69 - Sakura Meets Clow Reed

Eriol reveals himself to be the reincarnation of Clow Reed and casts Tomoeda into darkness, making everyone sleep. Unless Sakura breaks the spell everyone will sleep forever. Yue and Kero are busy with Ruby Moon and Spinel Sun, and Sakura herself is attacked by Eriol and she doesn't know what to do... She takes out the Clow Cards she hasn't changed and changes them all to Sakura Cards.. but LIGHT and DARK won't change, since they're the strongest cards. Kero and Yue offer to help Sakura change the cards, but Sakura still can't change them.. Shaoran comes to help and Sakura finally changes LIGHT and DARK into Sakura Cards and uses LIGHT to remove the darkness.

So it's finally over, Eriol says. All the Clow Cards are now Sakura Cards... but something more important is about to happen.. Shaoran finally, finally tells Sakura.. Sakura doesn't know what to do... that's for next time, the last of the TV episodes ;)

In the manga... Many changes were made to the anime. First of all, the site for the Final Judgement and the last fight with Eriol are switched around. In the manga, the fight with Eriol takes place at Tokyo Tower.. But more important than that, after the fight something very, very important (at least I think it's important) was left out in the anime -- Fujitaka's (Sakura's dad) part in this whole thing as half of the reincarnation of Clow. I can't think of a good reason to leave that out, except that there probably wasn't enough time left to fully explain it. But still, that's not a huge complaint :)
