Hacked!
Yes, the reason the site was down today was because it was hacked and EVERYTHING was deleted. I'm rebuilding the site right now with my most recent backup... which is from August 2nd. So I've lost more than a few entries. Your humble blogger will remember to make at least weekly backups now ;) With school getting into full swing now I dunno if I'm going to be able to go back over the past few weeks and redo things, except for maybe rewriting my Full Moon review and my "show the neat stuff I have and you don't off" posts ;)
Btw, I still have connection problems here. I called the cable company and the guy said they needed to send people out here but that ain't until Wednesday. So 50K/s is all I'll have until then unless it magically fixes itself somehow :P
What a bummer. I never understood nor try to understand the motivation behind hacking sites. Well, at least you were able to back up the bulk of your entries.
BTW, good luck with your connection problems. For some reason, I noticed that a lot of people I know from school are having problems with their internet connections. I think it's a back-to-school conspiracy thing. *lol* That's lack of sleep talking. ^^
If you want a newer copy of your site, the google cache was updated on the 18th of August.
Oh dear. That's the worst kind of thing that can happen besides the hosting company going bankrupt or disappearing into thin air... something like that.^^;; Now, I must learn to backup my entries as well. @@;;

This is terrible. I am so glad you backed up your data. The hacker must be a total jerk who does not understand how inconvinient it is for others. Or perhaps a loser who is totally negleted and forgotten in the real world and now desperately seeking attention by hacking. Phew.
I'm sorry to hear about the site being hacked. :( I'm glad that you made a backup of your database before everything disappeared, though.
OMG, that is awful! I suppose condolences from me are in order as well ...
I guess that cool stuff you had must have really enraged someone! Still, that is total suckage that someone would do something like that to you. I'm going to go back up Sea Slugs! now....

Dang, that's rough =( Someone ought to nab those hacker punks and make them watch every bad anime series known to mankind. Methinks they should start with Ikkitousen, followed by Mouse. Star Ocean EX and Avenger should fit somewhere in the mix as well.
Whoa whoa whoa, they hacked a provider, not blew up an elementary school. Isn't that kind of punishment un-Constitutional?
