Lucy and Nana have a little bit of a fight, but Lucy remembers something and goes back to the innocent Nyuu so it's over quickly. Nana eventually apologizes to Nyuu and Mayu asks Kouta if Nana can stay. So there's yet another girl living in the house now.
And it's flashback time... Kurama (Nana's "Papa") worked with Kakuzawa at that facility doing research on the Diclonius. What awful research it was... he couldn't really stand it. One of the test subjects, number 3, got out and looked for Kurama and found him.. then gave him a "reward". One of the others that number 3 ran into soon had a baby with his wife.. a Diclonius one. The vector virus was transmitted when number 3 touched him, and that virus is what causes the mutation to a Diclonius. So Kurama tells him to just kill it... later, Kurama's wife gives birth... so now Kurama's in that same situation, and tries to kill the baby girl himself, but he can't do it, so he along with the baby ends up back at the facility...
And back to the present there, the most dangerous of the Diclonius, even stronger than Lucy, number 35, is about to released....
So we didn't get to "that" this time either.. They're sure putting it off. Well, we'll see what happens next time then :)
They didn't bother to mention that No.3 is Nana's Nee-chan (Elder Sister) in the anime. That will explain why Kurama is so kind towards Nana.
And I think Kurama would have killed Mariko if not for Hiromi,his wife's dying plea.So he had kept Mariko alive because of Hiromi but he does not want to see her at all.
2 different daughters,all Diclonius/Silpelit but 2 different attitudes.I wonder what Kurama's stand about Diclonius really is.
And kind of strange that all Diclonius have pink or shades of pink colours for their hair. Lots of fanart have No.3's hair coloured blue and Mariko's suppose to be blonde, not pink !

I'm going crazy trying to figure out what "that" part is! lol :) I can't wait to watch this episode when it's subbed.
I talked with someone yesterday about why they all have pink hair, lol. Is kinda odd when on the manga covers they don't all have pink hair.
I'm sorry I can't say what "that" part is, kawaii ;) Seems they might save it for the last episode...
Ep10 will hopefully out english subbed later tonight. This episode is _really_ difficult and we don't want to make mistakes in this one because alot of stuff is explained, making potential errors costly.
kawaii, don't expect TOO much about "that". You might even guess or suspect it already. But you can relax. The preview pictures of ep11 on the Elfenlied website show one scene (the scissors) which only makes full sense if "that" is known to the audience. So they will obviously tell it in ep11 - unless they decide to let this scene be the cliffhanger to be explained in 12.
