TGIF
It's Friday, I'm worn out from school :P Anyways, I think my dad might upgrade to the 3Mbps service soon... maybe.. hopefully... he didn't sound opposed to it, but it's hard to get a straight yes/no out of him, as usual. Just gonna have to download stuff while I'm asleep or not doing stuff on the net until we get the faster service.
Yes, I do have stuff to watch and write about -- last Saturday's Aishiteru ze Baby (finally) and this week's Kurau. However, I'm doing a lot of weather geek stuff keeping tabs on hurricane Ivan now (those poor people in Florida are gonna get hit again), looking at computer models and advisories and watching some of the stations from Florida, so I will post when I post :) I think I'm also going to do a post about the shows in the "Other" section over there.
For right now I think I'll list the new shows coming up that I plan on checking out as of right now, just from what's been posted on various sites and such that's gotten my interest (broadcast dates and links taken from the very useful Moonphase.cc anime page).
9/30: Mai-HiME
10/1: Mahou Shoujo Ririkaru Nanoha - It's mahou shoujo, so of course I'll be watching this :) Sounds kinda typical, but we'll see. But it's got a boy that can change into a ferret, that's different! ;) Interesting to note that this is a spin-off from the 3rd game of a PC H-game series called "Triangle Heart", which Nanoha appeared in (Note: NO Nanoha H). A fan disc was released afterwards with a mini-scenario featuring magical girl Nanoha (Note: older Nanoha H from a few reviews about the game I read). Some of the seiyuu you might recognize are Tamura Yukari as Nanoha (Sakura in Da Capo, Shiori in Midori no Hibi), also singing the OP, Mizuki Nana as Fate Testarossa (Shinobu in Shinobuden), also singing the ED, and Kugimiya Rie as Arisa Bannings (Al in FMA, Miyabi in Shinobuden, Kouta in Midori no Hibi), to name a few. Looking good :)
10/4: Tsukuyomi -Moon Phase-
10/5: Gankutsuou
10/6: Futakoi - According to Moonphase, the two different Futakoi series won't start at the same time. The ufotable version is scheduled to start in January of next year. That will make things a lot less confusing for me ;)
That's the list for now, but I bet I'll end up watching more than that. That's all for now, I'm done for today. Oyasumi :)
...btw, I found this haiku in the textbook we're using in Japanese:
na no hana ya
tsuki wa higashi ni
hi wa nishi ni
(Buson, 1716-83)
Sound familiar to you, Stripey? ;)

That's... simply beautiful....*streams of tears down cheeks*... I KNEW there was something poetic about HaniHani! :P A big thank you for sharing! Is the rest of it any good? :)
