Elfen Lied 12
This one's going into the extended entry. Spoilerific spoilers ahead, so read after you watch unless you really want to know, 'kay? ;)
Skipping the summary for the most part this time...
Okay... so this was just a wee bit different than the manga. That thing I've been talking about forever happened this time... but Kouta remembers it (that hasn't happened in the manga up to where I've read. In the manga, Lucy remembers it at the end of volume 4, btw) And he remembers it after seeing Lucy kill the soldiers around Mariko, too (that's different). And where's Nana's Papa? So many differences.. but it did make things somewhat more interesting, I suppose, right? ;)
So now there's only one episode left. I wonder what's going to happen. Are we going to hear "Myu~"? ;) I'm guessing it's not going to follow the manga any more. I quickly (really quickly) looked through the chapters that were relevant to this episode after watching it and I don't remember much detail (it's been a while since I've really read it again), so maybe all of y'all who frequently comment on Elfen Lied will point some things out that I missed. Thanks as usual! :)

Think they're not going into Mariko's psychological issues like in the manga now....
Ep 13 will most likely wrap things up with Lucy Vs Bantou followed by a fight with Mariko and finally settle things with Kouta and friends.In short,another anime original episode.
Words has it that there will be an EL OVA according to a comment by the producer of EL in the latest issue of the Japanese release of Animage.
No idea what the OVA will deal with but it could be a original side story or an bonus episode (Ep 14?)
Oh yeah, I completely forgot to mention Okamoto-sensei's cameo.. Thanks for the comments as usual, Orochi :)
It was a bit of a suprise to me aswell this episode but it was quite good :D, it differed alot from the RAW Manga scans i read a year ago :)
