Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ 3

A bit more about Hazuki and Kouhei's pasts this time. Hazuki came to Japan to look for her mother... 2 years ago when Hazuki was put in that castle she left and they made a promise to see each other again.. she wanted Kouhei to be her servant to help her search, but he won't cooperate! ;)
Kouhei had something of tha same experience.. 14 years ago his mother left and said she's be back, but she died... He feels like he was just abandoned so he tells Hazuki that her mother must have done the same thing. That makes her mad so she runs off.. Stupid Kouhei :P But since Hazuki is a vampire it would be a problem if she were out and about when the sun comes up, so Kouhei goes to look for her and eventually finds her. And he agress to help her, so it's time for a little trip. With Hazuki stuffed in the trunk.. they stop for a bit and Hazuki goes off somewhere. Kouhei follows and finds an onsen.. go figure what happens next ;)
They find the house where Hazuki used to live before living in that castle, but no one's there. However, a cat is there and leads them to a lake where an apparition of Hazuki's mother appears. She asks Kouhei to take good care of Hazuki, and he leaves so Hazuki and her mother can have a nice long talk. But she didn't quite understand the last thing her mother said: "Hazuki, when you fall in love with someone, with that person only, don't make a blood contract". Cut to the dark figure of a woman: "You've got a wonderful boyfriend, don't you, Luna ojou-sama?"
So mix some comedic stuff with the dark and moody stuff and you've got this episode. The director does a really nice job of getting that dark mood across (as in the first two episodes). Works well enough for me to enjoy it. I'm pretty much in agreement with you, Momotato :)
Hope the screencaps this time don't scare you away, BluWacky ;) No nekomimi this time for the nekomimi haters to hate, 'cept for Hazuki in the past and the eyecatch. Few changes to the OP animation this time (see Momotato's post), and the ending was sung in Japanese this time. I could actually understand it :)

The font you are using is very hard to read. Could you change it to Time Roman or something?
Its interesting to see how the introduction changes from time to time.... between 1 and 2 it was just the flip panes (mooning you to frog) .. but there were some more signifcant changes in 3 (easter eggs instead of turtles, she turns into a day sack) ... I'm trying to figure out how all of those apply to moon references (since almost everytihng else does)
