Opening: 「想いを奏でて」 "Omoi wo kanadete" by savage genius: Nice song, nice visuals with Ichika and Manatsu :)
Ending: 「いつか溶ける涙」 "Itsuka tokeru namida" by savage genius: This one's good as well, with more Ichika and Manatsu.

A girl has a dream.. she's standing on a beach and there's another girl there that says something strange.. "I am you, and you are me"... Ichika (14 years old) wakes up from that strange dream, but doesn't remember it. She goes off to school, running into two college student twins, Sei and Kai. She got a little charm from Sei that she put on her cellphone. How sweet :) It's the last day of school before summer break and instead of class they have to clean. So Ichika and her friends, Satsuki, Keiko, and Michika are cleaning this older building and in the room there's an old mirror... and Ichika sees the girl from her dream in the mirror for a moment. There is a story that that mirror reflects a different person than is in front of it...

After school Ichika goes out with her friends.. there's a strange woman that appears on the top of a building in the city for a second... Ichika then remembers that she forgot her cellphone. And the charm that Sei gave to her is on it so she has to get it! ;) Once again going into the classroom with the mirror, she sees her phone.. but it's on the other side of the mirror? That girl appears again and offers to give it back to Ichika if she'll do something for her. Ichika agrees and the girl comes across to Ichika's side of the mirror and gives her phone back. But the stone in the charm is a different color.. and then there's a mahou shoujo-ish transformation sequence? That was a bit surprising.. Anyways, it's some power of the sun that the girl has. They fly up high above the town and look down... And what was the thing that the girl wanted from Ichika? To do her homework, basically :P

So Ichika takes the girl, Manatsu home with her and asks her parents if she can stay for the summer. She can :) As Ichika sleeps, Manatsu goes over and whispers in her ear: "Sorry for lying to you". About what?...

This first episode left me with a pretty good impression. There is some service and some yuri-ish stuff for those that like it (*cough*Momotato*cough*). Wonder if we'll see any more mahou shoujo-ish stuff from Ichika... Anyways, nothing to really complain about here. Animation was nicely done, music was also nice, character design is nice. So I'll be watching next time :)
