Uta~Kata 2

10/11 11:04PM: Oookay, Matthew missed something important in the first episode. Manatsu's homework was to use that charm 12 times during the summer and write something about it. Ooops.. I must've really not been listening. Happens sometimes, you know ;) I'll try not to miss stuff again, 'kay? :)

Manatsu's satisfied with the way Ichika's doing her homework for her, but not too happy about waking up early. She and Ichika go to this.. "radio exercises", I think it was, thing and there Ichika sees a friend, Maki.. along with a guy, Ryou. Ichika lies and says that she and Manatsu are e-mail friends. So Ryou asks for her address and she gives it to him...

When Ichika and Manatsu get back home that mysterious woman passes by. She's actually Ichika's next door neighbor. Ichika's tutor's, Kai and Sei, come by a bit later, and Ichika's pretty flustered because that charm she got still isn't back to the way it was. She introduces Manatsu to them, lying once again about how they met. And we learn how she got that charm.. She ran into Kai and Sei one day as they were going to bury it, and Sei gave it to her... Ichika says she'll go with Manatsu to the library to study by herself, however, so they leave. And that woman is watching... When Kai and Sei talk over things later, Sei says that when he looks at Ichika and Manatsu it reminds him of that summer..

At the library Ichika sees Ryou again, so her and Manatsu go along with him. Manatsu doesn't seem to trust him very much, though. Ichika lies again when telling Ryou about Manatsu... Cutting away for a bit, that woman says something about lies... And Ichika realizes that she's been doing nothing but lying to people all day.. She and Manatsu start to go home, but Ryou won't allow it, so they run away with Ryou chasing after them, and he eventually gets Ichika. But Maki is there waiting for him and she's not too pleased, breaking Ryou's cellphone. So Ryou picks her up... and Manatsu and Ichika run away to think of what to do. Ichika has an idea, and again uses that charm.. to get the power of the moon this time with a different costume and different transformation sequence and glow. Luckily, Kai shows up and takes care of Ryou...

So Maki and Ryou make up and Manatsu and Ichika have a nice night flight. That woman said something interesting at the end.. That makes two. So I suppose Ichika will get a different power for each of the 10 remaining jewels. With a different (very kawaii!) costume every episode it seems almost like CCS :) And what's with Kai and Sei? Did they experience something like Ichika? It didn't seem to be a very pleasant memory, though... So many questions... I'm getting the feeling that Uta~Kata will be one of my favorites this season with the way these first two episodes have gone :)
