Futakoi 8

At school the next day, Kira and Yura bring apple pies (that they finally got right on the 53rd try) to Nozomu (and Keisuke), but Nozomu doesn't eat any of them, still worried about what to do... on the way home, there's a girl spying on Nozomu.. that girl drawing pictures is back again and Nozomu takes a look at some of her pictures and there's a drawing of.. him? Souju's a bit embarassed about it (kawaii~). Nozomu takes her to a spot high above the town where you can see everything. She introduces herself as Shirogane Souju, 1st year middle school. She was so happy that Nozomu said her drawings were good.. she doesn't go to school much since her body's weak, so she hasn't been able to make that many friends, so she draws by herself a lot... Souju draws a really nice picture of the town, and when they come back, Lala and Lulu (and Billy) come to ask Souju to draw a picture of them, too :)

At school Nozomu's class decided on what they're going to do for the upcoming culture festival and Nozomu goes off to buy things for it along with Keisuke and Kaoruko and Sumireko. While they're shopping someone is following them... that girl is following Nozomu again the next day when he's helping Kira and Yura do some stuff... Back at the temple, Souju's finished drawing Lulu and Lala, but Nozomu isn't back yet. Souju goes to leave when she almost collapses and that other girl, Sara, rushes in to help her.

The next day at school Keisuke talks about a girl that was waiting at the gate he talked to. She looks like Sara, and apparently he told her a lot of stuff about Nozomu. When Nozomu leaves Sara is there waiting and boy does she look rather pissed. She says he's dishonored Souju and demands that he break up with the other girls and go out with Souju...

Man, Keisuke was right about Sara being strong-willed ;) And waaa, Souju's kawaii~~. Now that I've got that outta my system..

As you can tell by reading the summary, unlike the other twins, it's pretty clear they have pretty different, almost opposing personalities right off the bat. Souju's very kind and gentle; Sara's very forthright and says her mind, but she's that way because she wants to protect Souju.. It seems like they've been watching Nozomu a while since Souju mentioned that Nozomu was kind after all, just like she had thought he'd be.. Souju also said something about a "final" something this time.. wonder what that could be?

However, I would like to see Sara and Souju's story wrapped up next time so we can concentrate more on the Ichijou twins in the last few episodes since they're the best developed characters. Hopefully that'll be the case (and hopefully it'll be a happy ending, too). Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this episode a lot, though ;)
