Matthew's November List

| | Comments (0)

Guess I'll join in on the fun here. Two of the Sea Slugs! have posted their lists for November so I'll go ahead and post mine.

Matthew's Picks for November
1. Uta~Kata - No question here, as events of recent episodes have got me anticipating this one every week. Though it has gotten rather depressing...

2. Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ - Neko Mimi Mode desu~! The opening's been on my playlist a lot recently ;) Show's moving along great and I can't wait to catch this week's ep (which Momotato has already watched). Go read the manga if you can, too, though I should warn that it's very much moe ;)

3. Gakuen Alice - Mikan's hijinks are hilarious, and so are the various ways Hotaru finds to beat her up (Baka Gun!). Also doesn't hurt that it's very cute ;)

4. Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha - Keeps on getting better and better. A Nanoha-Fate team up soon would make my day (and then some) :)

5. Mai-HiME - The surprises in episode 8 move this one up to the top 5. Here's hoping for more :)

Movin' On Up
Rozen Maiden - Shinku is great :) Though with the tough competition it'll be hard to break into the top 5.

Fantastic Children - Excellent old-school adventure with plenty of mysteries to be solved.

Futakoi - Moving on up after episode 5 changed the direction of the show. The introduction of the very kawaii Souju in episode 8 also moves it up some ;)

Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure - Yes, even Mermaid Melody has been moving along recently, finally out of the dregs of filler. My weekly allowance of teen angst ;)

School Rumble - More of the same Tenma and Harima craziness is good enough for me. rararararara rararara rararara~ ;)

Special Mention
Kaleido Star - I finished it up over the weekend, and wow, what a ride those last 8 episodes or so. But if I say more I'll spoil it for Ender and Kabitzin :) Definitely worth watching. I've been rewatching it with friends and they really enjoyed the first DVD (especially Fool).

On the Way Down
Watching too much stuff! - Because of the load of new shows and my limited speed (384kbps), and running out of HD space I've stopped watching Naruto, Gash Bell, and some others for now. I'll catch up when I can if I feel like it, I guess ;) And also get around to watching Kannazuki no Miko since people seem to like it :)
