Meanwhile, Sei makes his way to the island as well, very much in a hurry, wonder if he's made in time.. Saya is looking on as usual..

Ichika and the rest go to a cave, and up to a shrine where couples have left their wishes, hoping they'll be granted. Those two kids are there, of course (kawaii~!). Ichika and the rest read what they wished for -- be together forever, don't want to be separated, so on... They finally go off somewhere else, with Sei just barely missing them... This time it's to the "Lovers' Hill" where these locks have been placed with couples' names on them. One of them has Keiko's former guy on it with that day's date.. which means... yup, he's there with another girl and Keiko sees him. Satsuki gives him a good b*$&@ slap and they go on... Keiko explains to Satsuki that she knew they were coming there since she had gotten an e-mail by accident.. She was scared of checking on it by herself so she invited everybody else along..

But then Ichika gets those red eyes again and hears something that sounds like Keiko crying in despair.. So she can sense things she couldn't before, and not only her eyes, but ears, mouth, and nose.. and even the charm will notice. The charm activates on its own and she transforms, this time with the power of lightning and with those evil red eyes. Without being able to stop herself, she uses the power and it causes a blackout... And in that darkness Keiko cries.. And we also see something from Satsuki's past.. seems like she had to go through the same awful things that Mayu-chan from Elfen Lied had to go through... Ichika sees those two kids and remembers what they wrote.. the boy tells the girl that he's going to transfer to another school (awwwwwww, *cries*)... and then Ichika returns, but still with those red eyes. Sei arrives there and hands her some shades to hide it. When they get home Sei asks her to talk about what's really going on..

And is about to say something about himself but that's where it ends. This was definitely the image that was the theme this time given how many times it was shown and emphasized in tight shots (seeing those kids made me get natsukashii for a bit there). The idea of holding hands, being together with each other. And you could kinda see that idea from each character's point of view (except for Michiru, really) this time. Manatsu wanting to be with Ichika, that boy and girl wanting to be together, everybody wanting to be with someone special.. but as that boy told the girl that he would be transferring away to another school, so did Keiko have to come to grips with what she saw.. and Satsuki remembered something awful.. and Ichika's just about lost control of herself. Or rather, she has, with those red eyes becoming permanent and also starting to sense others' suffering, it seems. I certainly don't get a good feeling about what's going to happen next to Ichika.. Suppose we'll find out more when Sei talks next time.

Now talking personally, I've really gotten into Uta~Kata. Perhaps that's why I've been writing longer summaries than I usually do, lol ;) But anyways, really, these past few episodes have had me completely captivated.. not losing my attention one bit while I watch... and Evil Ichika's red eyes really creep me out, too. And with lightning instead of flowers this time she really was kinda scary, you know ;) I suppose my enthusiasm for blogging and writing a lot about it means Uta~Kata is number one among the shows I'm watching now :) And hopefully it will keep that spot 'til the end. I can't wait... though I do hope it's somewhat of a happy ending :)

And.. uhhh... the ending illustration of the costume Ichika wore this time is kinda... eehhh.. how should I put it?.. kinky? so I might pass on posting it, lol ;)... I really do prefer seeing Ichika in costume without the red eyes. So much cuter :)
