Audio Update December
This time, I talk about the fall season of shows which just ended, including Uta~Kata, Nanoha, Rozen Maiden, and Futakoi. Your responses to the mailbag and my thoughts on the upcoming Tsubasa anime, and also Kimi ga Nozomu Eien and Princess Tutu along with various other assorted things. Once again, I apologize for the quality of things as I'm very much a amateur at radio-ish stuff, but I hope y'all enjoy it anyways! Leave your comments here :)

I've been reading your blog for awhile, ever since I found it in Momotato's link section, but never really posted any comments. With the new year starting and all, it's as good of a time as any to start.
While I didn't watch as much anime in 2004 as I had in previous years, I smiled when I saw Elfen Lied listed as your favorite for 2004. When I first heard about Elfen Lied, I decided to stay far, far away, but when someone subbed the first episode, I couldn't help but be mildly interested in the contents. While that night I couldn't even make it through episode 1, after having read about the later episodes through your blog, I decided to give the show a second chance. Making it through episode 1, I found myself watching episode 2, and before I realized it, I'd watched the entire show. While Nana was my standout favorite (She's so adorable!), I loved all of the characters, loved the presentation, and loved the story. I'm looking forward to getting to read more of the manga, to see how things are different, and where the manga eventually ends up. Nontheless, thanks to your blogging, I ended up watching a show that normally I would've avoided without question, and found what was easily my favorite of 2004 as well, and one of my all time favorites.
I don't have much else to say about the 2004 season, but I just wanted to say I enjoy reading your blog, and I'm looking forward to seeing your comments about the shows in 2005 as much as I'm looking forward to watching them.
I'd guess that the reason nobody's rushing to pick up Full Moon wo Sagashite is that finding a good female vocalist for the English versions of all the songs who can also be scheduled to do all the voice acting for 52 episodes would be a bit difficult. Also, you'd have to rewrite said songs.
It would be easy enough to just have the sub track and not bother redoing all that work, but I guess that stuff doesn't play in the states.
