Saturday Notes...
Okay, downloading KimiNozo right now. My poor hard drive... I really must get another one or a DVD burner soon... Anyways, maybe I'll get my little "anime club" here to watch it with me. Members include me and 3 friends, Larry, Angela, and Bob, I converted. It's much funner to watch stuff with them than all by myself ;) Hopefully we'll be able to get together to watch some more stuff during break. Here's what we're watching:
Kaleido Star (5)
Stellvia (4)
Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ (2)
Since Uta~Kata subs have been coming out recently I think we'll watch some of that as well (I'm going to have to apologize to Angela for all the fanservice...). But there are other things as well.. too much good stuff... Anyways, perhaps I'll be able to convince them to write a bit here after watching stuff next time :) I have another friend that I'd like to maybe show a bit of Tsukuyomi to. She likes cats (I like calling her Kiti-chan) and one of her nicknames is Luna. Wonder how she'd react to Hazuki? ;)
Just finished watching Kiddy Grade. And... well, it was okay after episode 10 or so. Things got interesting after that, but it didn't pull me in as much as Uta~Kata. But it was worth watching.. if only 'cause Lumiere and Eclair are cute ;) Anyways...
I've been trying to think of other shows I should watch/catch up on during break. Perhaps Kimi ga Nozomu Eien? Also thinking of watching a bit of Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (since it's Tanemura Arina). Here's a hopefully complete list of what all I've seen. Y'all know what kind of shows I enjoy so if somebody out there thinks of something I might like comment away ;)
Also, I think I'm going to take it a bit easier with the blogging for a few days. Of course I'm going to put Nanoha and Uta~Kata up as soon as I watch them, but others might be later than usual. I've been blogging at a torrential pace ever since October so I could use a bit of break. Or I could just forego summaries for a bit and go directly to my thoughts. But I know a lot of y'all like my summaries ;) I've been trying to put more of what I think about things into my blogging since the new season started and hopefully y'all have liked it :) Though sometimes it is somewhat difficult for me to put those thoughts into words. I really have to get into something to be able to do that well. And even when I do, as with Uta~Kata recently, I forget to mention some things I might have in mind. Hopefully I'll get better at doing that, though I probably won't be able to match Jeff or Stripey or David ;)
Okay, that's all for now. I slept really late yesterday so who knows how long I'll be up.

Okay, if you seriously haven't watched KimiNozo yet, this is a _must-see_ for you. Not only am I 100% sure that you'll love it, it's been THE defining anime of the Serious Mature Romance Drama genre. And therefore required to know, to compare other contenders to it ;)
Seriously, watch it! And keep up the great work!
I highly reccomend Kiminozo.
And after you finish that, you can watch Akane Maniax!
OMG, I can't believe you gave YuGiOh a "not really that good" rating!! Heresy!
....it would totally deserves a "suxxor!" rating, if there was one.
Ok, you have got to watch KimiNozo. It is the best of the soapy anime dramas. Then after that, you can watch and hate Gouda from Akane Maniax!
Plus it's a short series. For Takayuki-level commitment.
Yup yup, just to chime in, Matthew, you have *got* to watch Kiminozo - I can't say I like the uber-cheezy plotline (or the series itself), but it is one of the golden standards of anime :)
It's quite sad that Mediafactory is against fansubs, I was looking forward to watch more genshiken.
Kiminozo is good, they cleverly use cliff hanger, you should get the entire series and Onigiri's special episode before you start watching. Matt, you're too soft when rating anime.
