Uta~Kata 11

Once again with spoilerish material so read at your own discretion ;)

Skipping an exhaustive summary this time... but I'll still give y'all a short one :)

What's going to happen at the end of summer is finally brought to light - Ichika's family is moving due to her father's job. And even though she didn't want them to, Keiko, Satsuki, and Michiru knew about it.. And the bishounen are what I figured them to be. The choices Sei didn't make aren't exactly explained, but his decision to not choose was against the rules.. Ichika once again automatically transforms after Michiru asks some things of her, this time with the power of the ocean, causing a tsunami. She can't stop it, so Manatsu tries to intervene... Saya informs her it's against the rules, of course, but she does it anyways, letting out an awful scream.. and when things settle down Manatsu's out. And at the end Saya's prepared her scythe...

Good stuff this time, with some added service, of course. So Ichika's going to have to make her choice, from whatever choices there might be (there's some discussion on what those might be on last week's Uta~kata entry), next time. In the preview some hint is given... "Even if it's in exchange for my life it's okay; even if it's in exchange for the world it's okay". So we'll see what happens next time, the last episode of Uta~Kata (last episode? Nooooooo!). Hope it's something of a happy ending at least :)

Wow, that was impressive. Young Sei and Kai wasn't really a surprise, but the 'crucifiction' scene was, and that was a throat-destroying scream from Manatsu (they probably knocked her out for the rest of the ep to give her Seiyuu a break :P). They skipped Keiko's signature 'bounce' this time.
The costume and ED drawing were very nice this time too, anyknow know who drew it this time? (After the eyecatches on Kiddy Grade, getting a guest artist in each ep looks to be a gimik.. gimick.)

I saw the costume, and I was expecting her to unleash locusts upon the land. We also haven't seen that same costume she wears in the opening sequence. Perhaps that's the final one? The part about her moving also came at a great time for me, since I had just gotten done watching the sub of episode 6, where she made some comment about how doing her homework was pointless because she wouldn't be turning it in anyways. Keiko and Satsuki seem to be adding more fuel to the rumors of a shoujo-ai relationship between them as well. Great episode, don't want it to end next week though. :(
