Mai-HiME 14
I'm going to defer to Mentar for this one :) I have not put in anywhere near as much thought as he (and Garten) have put into Mai-HiME so far (maybe since I've been watching too much other stuff to really think about it). Perhaps it would be best for me to put this in the "Other" category and just be along for the ride... If I think of something insightful to say about this episode I'll be back later ;)
(after reading Mentar's review...) I'm with him :) Though I did think of some random stuff... With the mood shifting from the comedic tone of earlier episodes to more serious goings-on (though still with a touch of comedy).. if I were director I would've changed the op sequence.. or maybe that's just because I think it could've be done better in the first place ;)... Also check Moyism's post. For some reason, Alyssa's child (in orbit, yeeesh) makes me want to do the "laser" thing from Austin Powers :P

I just got done watching the sub of 13, after Alyssa blows up the bridge Nagi made the comment "now you've done it you fake HiME." Assuming the translation's accurate that means there may be 13 HiMEs, since Alyssa isn't a real one.
That'd explain her child being in orbit and so powerful if it was constructed by the SEARRS foundation as a weapon.
