Sunday Notes....

Apologies for being slow with blogging this weekend, but I was extremely distracted. When there's any kind of winter storm us southerners have to get out there and experience it, almost enjoy it I guess you could say, since it's such a rare event. Though snow would've been much better than ice. Watching sleet/freezing rain fall isn't quite as interesting :P There's about 1/4"-1/2" inch of ice on everything out there, with about 1/2" of sleet on the ground in places with that ice on top. Trees are really bending over, and when I walked outside last I heard 3 or 4 branches (or maybe even trees) snapping and falling down...

Anyways, just a quick reminder. Next audio update will be on Saturday, so send in your e-mails. The topic this time is anything, anything at all y'all want to write about. So I'd better have at least a few when I check my mail Saturday ;) And... the audio update will be a special anniversary edition as well. I'm planning to talk a bit about the past year since this blog was established. Also, over the next week I'll highlight some of the things I've watched/blogged over the past year as well, kind of a "best of..." thing, I guess.

Wow...the storm in Altanta made it on the radio up here in Canada (Toronto). It must've been really bad for you guys (and here I was thinking "Bah! You can still see grass! Can't be that bad..")

It's pretty bad, I live about 4 hours from where Matthew's at and they have been talking about it on our news all weekend as well. We didn't get hit with this, our tempatures stayed up enough that we just got a lot of rain (albeit very cold rain since it was around 34 degrees F the whole time). I saw someone comment that Atlanta was buried under 2 feet of ice. A bit of an exaggeration, but from what I've heard on the news and from Matthew on here it's pretty darn bad. Atlanta just doesn't get that kind of weather very often. ^_^
