Tomoka sets out to start work, with Ebi tagging along with her (no da!). She runs into Kirie (she calls her 小島のお姉さん), who says she shouldn't work so much, she should have some fun, then offers to take her to see Poyon-chan, a character Tomoka likes. For a second Tomoka thinks about it, then says no. Kirie then makes a big mistake.... saying that since Tomoka is really a kid she should act like a kid and have fun. Tomoka's not a kid no da! She calls Kirie an おっぱいお化け then runs away crying...

And then runs into Fukuyama (she calls him an エロエロ星人) who follows her. Tomoka says she's looking for guys to bring back to Maharu (Miharu's older sister). But she's not talking about Fukuyama ;) Fukuyama continues to tag along with Tomoka as they walk through a shopping district, then Tomoka spies something... Kirie walks out of a bakery then talks with a guy she knew, that apparently still likes her...

Next they follow her to the hospital where she visits another guy... that likes her, of course. Fukuyama guesses she must be giving off some kind of pheromone to make the guys she's around like that ;) Out on the street Kirie's once again surrounded by guys as Fukuyama and Tomoka walk up. Tomoka takes out Ebi and uses its beam attack to send a billboard on top of a building down, making the guys run away. Tomoka'a an adult so she helps out people that are in trouble, even if those people do treat her like a kid. Fukuyama realizes what Tomoka wants now -- he's got a plan to make Kirie stop treating her like a kid. Tomoka agrees... But there are ulterior motives working here -- Fukuyama imagines what he'll be doing with Kirie after he uses Tomoka to get what he wants done... Tomoka knows Fukuyama's up to something so she's got idea of her own.. and imagines Kirie finally saying that she's an adult.. then giving her a Poyon-chan outfit. Still a kid after all ;)

Tomoka and Fukuyama see Kirie trying to save a kid who chased a ball in the street from an oncoming car, so Fukuyama dives in to save them... and since Ebi's out of ammo he gets run over ;) Kirie tries to help a girl get her balloon back next, but a tall masked person (Fukuyama and Tomoka) gets it back instead... Fukuyama distracts guys around Kirie by throwing out money... Then he stops a guy trying to hold Kirie's hand at a store.. and so on until evening where Tomoka has a plan.. Kirie is confronted by some ruffians outside a store when Fukuyama jumps in to save her... but gets beat up. Kirie takes care of those guys very easily, of course. All according to Tomoka's plan ;)

Kirie meets up with Koyomi, Yukinari, and Miharu, who are looking for Tomoka. They haven't been able to find her.. Kirie doesn't know where she is, though.. Tomoka wonders around by herself as night falls, lost, finally taking refuge under a bridge as it rains. Maybe no one's coming because Tomoka did all those bad things earlier.... Fukuyama, of all people, shows up and gives his coat to Tomoka to warm her up. Tomoka now calls Fukuyama 和春おにいさん as they leave to meet up with everyone ;)

I was expecting worse given the Kirie screencaps I saw (I don't really like that kinda fanservice...), but besides that part, this episode was another one that could've run in the first season with minimal censoring. They once again pleasantly surprised me ;) And Fukuyama was nice again, that's a bit unexpected. Anyways, pretty fun episode that left me with a smile at the end... no da! For those wondering, adding "no da" to sentences is just Tomoka's way of speaking. Seems a lot of younger cute anime girls like doing that ;) But man, she is absolutely ruthless, isn't she? How many times did she hit Fukuyama there? One, two, three, four. Ouch....

Looks like next time a new character will be introduced.. one I do not recognize from the manga, so it should be interesting. And if this story is the one I think it is it should be fun :) I've still got one complaint so far, though.... where's Koyomi?

pretty funny episode IMO. Every male wants Kirie one way or another! Must be hard having such great assets ;)

I also actually like the fact in season two Fukuyama has his "good guy" moments, showing he's not a total perv. Though those moments are very few and far between.

preview for ep 6 looks like we're getting a new cast member. hmm...

Call me weird, but I don't care for large breasted girls, especially not the anime larger-than-humanly-possible variety. :) I like Tomokoa a lot, she's cute, funny as hell and a quasi-magical girl! (But she's not a kid right? ^_-)

Since this is the first time I've watched Girls Bravo, I don't understand why Tomoko ends her sentences with "no daa"; maybe it's just her style, just like Chichiri's way to talking.

Anyway, I'm looking forward for you summary. I watch the show "live and raw," i.e. I watch the same time as those in Japan watch it (at 12mn Japan, 11pm HK).
