Mahoraba 10

Please see Satoshi for a full, detailed summary of what happened this time, then read below. Back to the usual next time :)

I'll add just a bit and mention that in the manga "The Punisher" uses a steel bat to beat down "Hot Stuff". Dunno why they'd change that... ;) And adding a definition here, "Hot Stuff" likes any girl and every girl.. except ツルペタ girls like Asami. His only redeeming point, I suppose.. Anyways, back on track ;)

I wasn't expecting Shiratori to remember something from his childhood with Kozue. Quite a 急展開. Even through 8 volumes of the manga (that I've read) he hasn't remembered a thing, nothing. Now that they've teased it, I wonder what exactly happened between Kozue and Shiratori to make him forget what happened back then. Something having to do with Kozue developing alternate personalties, perhaps... Well, having these kinds of developments makes things interesting for people who've read the manga, doesn't it? ;)

Next time is Momono's character development story. It'll have something to do with the air mail letter she got. You'll see her in a way you've never seen her before ;)

heh, nice little episode of Mahoraba. we get some character development of the minor characters of Shiratori's class mate and some back story between him and Kozue.

Tamami is still a force to be reckoned with. her "scorpion" hair attack was quite funny.I'm also dying to find out what happens in Shirogane sensei's "punishments".i wouldn't be surprised if she's related to Tamami-chan in one way or another.

the juice scene was kinda expected.gets to you after countless anime/drama's,lol. Luckily Shiratori's little "masterpiece" was saved by Kozue-chan, heh. and the 4-koma was quite cute and funny too.

Tama-chan is gonna kill me one day :) ... the hair attack left me in stiches.

You know what I'd really want to see? Letting Shiratori's perverted classmate collide with Saki-chan ^_^

I have a better matchup, Shiratori's perverted classmate has a run in with Chiyori-chan AND Tamami-chan. ;)

I dunno if that's too good of an idea. In female form, he might fall for himself...

...okay, maybe not so bad. As long as it keeps him away from the screen.

Amen Satoshi...that guy annoys the living hell out of me.

Gotta add I can't remember the last time I laughed so much at a single character's antics in a show like I have with Tamami.

It would be amusing for him to find out that it was really Shiratori in drag instead of a really cute girl. I suspect he'd react worse that Fukuyama did. :)

Maestro, only thing is that Tamami would have to dress him up as a girl before Chiyuri gets to him, since Chiyuri has absolutely ZERO interest in guys ;)

Posted by Matthew at March 15, 2005 1:01 AM

even worse would be him running into Nanako-chan. with the body of a 17 year-old and the mind and naivete of a 6 year old, I wonder what would happen....

DAMN(hits himself on the head with The Punisher's "weapon"). i'm going all perverted.....

So, given that Japan fetishizes school girls wouldn't that make Hot Stuff abnormal for not going after Asami-chan? ^_-

It's pretty funny he was going after Sayoko though. :)

well, different ppl,different tastes i guess ;) .

Posted by kurogane at March 15, 2005 10:50 PM

Yeah, although I think Sayoko's cute too, but she's far too depressed/unmotivated/etc. I just find it funny he was going after her too with her being the oldest of the females around to hit on. ^_- Maybe he's got a thing for gloomy gals.. ;)

I just watched the subtitled version of episode 10 of Mahoraba eleased by Froth-Bite. At the end of the scene where Shiratori was remembering his past with Kozue, Kozue said that she’s sure many people will be saved by his drawings just like herself. Was that scene translated correctly? Does that mean that something serious happened to Kozue in the past (a disease for instance) and that Shiratori was the person who helped her overcome it? Maybe it has something to do with her multiple personalities?!!
