Monday Notes...
For those interested, I've set up a group on ESPN's Men's Tournament Challenge for everybody. I know next to nothing about college basketball, but hey, I might do well ;) If you're interested, this is the text of the invite e-mail (You will need an account with ESPN.com to participate):
Matthew Whitehead has put together a group on ESPN.com's ESPN Men's Tournament Challenge and would like you to join.

ESPN Men's Tournament Challenge
Just got back from friend's place. No, it wasn't a Momono-style drink cheap beer and stay up all night being noisy thing ;) Another "meeting" of my "anime club", minus the one female "member". We watched:
GIRLS Bravo second season 1
Stellvia 7-8
Mahoraba 2-3
Rozen Maiden 2
Person who always falls asleep while we're watching something fell asleep while Mahoraba was on. Never gonna finish anything at this rate :P
Anyways, I shall get some sleep now and do Mahoraba 10 later, whenever that is ;)

Hmmm I think some anime are really an acquired taste which for one reason or another put alot of average, non-hardcore people off. Especially something like Girls Bravo. Sad to say this but you would have better luck with Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Naruto... yadda yadda. Depending on background, it can take years for a person to totally become de-sensitize to the blatant fan-services like the ones in Girls Bravo.

That's a good point Falen, although some guys may love it at first sight and wonder why other shows aren't like that as well... Personally I don't care for it when it's so blatant like in Girls Bravo, it just detracts from everything else. :)
When it's one-on-one I always pick something that I know fits the person's personality.

Did I mention they requested Girls Bravo? Seemed to enjoy it as well ;)

Stupid ESPN...you have to fill out the entire bracket for it to save it. I did half of it last night and was going to do the rest this morning only to find it didn't save what I did. Grrrrr.
