Futakoi Alternative Trailer

A long trailer, clocking in at just over 5 minutes, is available on StarChild's Futakoi Alternative site now.
The stars of the show this time are the Shirogane twins, Sara and Souju, much to my delight, and ufotable's done a great job with them. The basic premise is that both of them work as helpers for a private detective, Rentarou, a college dropout, with the theme for the show (guessing from how many times it was repeated) being 三人でいたい, "We want the three of us to be together", Souju, Sara, and Rentarou. And it looks like we'll be in for a bit of everything, comedy, drama, and some action as well. The middle part of the trailer with all the action threw me off a bit -- see how that figures into things when the show starts (ed: Apparently Rentarou and the rest get attacked by the Mafia or something), but I'm definitely more interested (if that's possible) now, and judging just from the trailer we should be in for a much superior Futakoi show as compared to the fall's :)

Interesting that we didn't seem to see any of the other twins in the trailer (except what, IIRC, looked to be a short cut of Mai (from Ai fame)).
The action segment did kinda throw me, partly because it looked unrealistic (jumping on top of a missile..?), but the rest looks all too serious.
I'd say something like 'Ah, quality looks much better!' but that might jinx it, so I won't. I'll just think it, instead. :)
Sorry for the double post..just wanted to clarify that I didn't intend my 'Sara & Souju are the only twins to get screentime' comment to be taken negatively. Of course, I think it's a good thing :)
My point was that we never really saw any of the other twins animated, so we'll have to wait and see how they're actually portrayed (yes, there are character descriptions, but actually seeing them interact with other characters is what's going to bring them to life..).
Hehe, I love that middle screenshot on the top row, looks like they're both rubbing against the guy. :)
pretty cute stuff. Wonder how that whole action bit will play out though...
BTW, if anyone wants the trailer, I'm currently hosting the video @ http://moyism.com/FutakoiAlternative-Trailer.zip (16MB). Enjoy!
I'm going to ask the same question I asked when you guys started talking about Tsubasa...will I have needed to watch the first Futakoi to watch this one?
Hephador, you'll be fine since they're completely different stories, with only the twins being the same ;)
Definitely looks better than the first one in terms of visuals. The part where the guy ran off the missile was actually decent animation...
Well what do you expect, the studio that did the surprisingly well-animated Jinki:Extend is participating in this too.
I'm looking forward to this more than anything else in the spring season...ufotable's Shinobuden and Dokkoider were awesome, and if Nabeshin is directing this could be one of the best series of the year
