Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime 6

Fine and Rain look out their window with stuff on their minds.. Rain's thinking about Prince Bright, of course, but Fine.. she's got her mind on Eclipse. No, not in that way as Rain as thinks, but only because he's quite a suspicious guy and she wants to find out what exactly he's up to. They overhear a conversation outside their room about a supposedly very accurate fortune teller in the Moon Kingdom, so Fine and Rain head off there via "Telepumotion" to go visit.
And they arrive in the Moon Kingdom (Find out more about the Moon Kingdom here!), in the middle of a desert with an aurora overhead, landing in the usual rough manner. A transport from the Moon Kingdom castle arrives and takes them to see the queen of the Moon Kingdom, Moon Maria, who's wearing an appropriate hat, along with Princess Milky. Prince Shade is out for some reason or another... Moon Maria knew they were coming since it was foretold that morning that visitors from far away would be coming when the aurora glimmers in the east. Something's wrong with Moon Maria.. Milky tries to tell Fine and Rain what's going on, but they don't seem to understand her "babu"'s and such.. well, actually Fine can understand. Not a surprise since they're both gluttons, Pumo says ;) Anyways, since the aurora showed up Moon Maria's been having nightmares. Fine and Rain want to help out, of course.
But first, they've got to find that fortunetelling granny they heard about, and they head into town. And there are lots of fortunetellers lined up on the streets. Fine asks who's the accurate and famous fortune-telling granny, and all of them come chasing after them. They manage to get away and hide, and there, they run into the real fortune-telling granny, who invites them into her house. It's a pretty scary place, much to Fine's delight as the scaredycat of the group ;) Granny tries to do some fortunetelling, but...
her shoulders ache a bit, so she has Fine and Rain give her a massage. And now she's hungry, so Fine and Rain make her something to eat.. not a good idea there, granny ;) It's awful, of course... Then she tells Fine and Rain to do the laundry. How much detergent are you supposed to use, though? Fine throws in the whole box and the predictable happens: everything overflows and makes quite a mess. So they have to clean it up... Fine falls down and Rain breaks some pots.. they're absolutely hopeless at housecleaning ;) Granny finally tells them to get out and does some fortunetelling.. an image of a place in the desert shows in her crystal ball -- if they go there they'll meet Eclipse.
Fine and Rain, along with the fortunetelling granny, run to catch a bus going to the desert. After entertaining a baby rabbit by making some silly faces (and letting it use Pumo as a chew toy) and finding out what Eclipse means, the bus comes to halt, having run into a rock. And now the one of the rabbit kids has a stomachache. So what to do? Fine and Rain transform and go outside to see if they can fix things. And... OMG! It worked! The power of the Prominence actually worked right away! The bus is fixed and it goes on its way... without them. Uh-oh... And Eclipse saw everything from nearby..
So now Fine and Rain are stuck in the middle of the desert. Now's the perfect time for you-know-what...

困った困った困った~!
komatta komatta komatta! (We're in trouble!)
And so they do the "komatta" dance. Rain spots a "cute" plant-like thing that looks remarkably like a certain plant from a certain series of videogames. She gets closer to it.. CHOMP! Fine uses the one-person Prominece spell "kakurenbo shimashou!".. and hides herself.. oops, wrong one! "daruma-san ga koronda!" stops the plant and Rain frees herself. They run away, but Fine loses her Sunny Luce and something picks it up...
Eclipse has Fine's Sunny Luce now and he opens it to see if he can use it.. nope, nothing happens. It's completely out of juice and useless.. Eclipse throws a rock past Fine, then throws her Sunny Luce back, riding away. But that rock wasn't meant for Fine, it hit a poisonous scorpion that was sneaking up behind them... A boat comes sailing towards them with the fortunetelling granny onboard. She wants payment for her services ;) She throws in one more mysterious fortune for free: "Two stars shine in the heavens. When those stars approach the sun, the moon also approaches the sun." She then promptly leaves them behind ;)
Pumo teleports himself and the Sunny Luces back to be recharged, leaving Fine and Rain by themselves in the middle of the desert, without the Sunny Luces, without the power of the Promince, stuck to fend for themselves overnight somehow..
I wonder what would've happened had Fine's Sunny Luce still had some charge left in it when Eclipse tried to use it. "Promience Dress Up!".. Now that would've been interesting to see. Though Eclipse probably wouldn't make as good a girl as Shiratori from Mahoraba ;) We still didn't learn much about who Eclipse is, besides that he wants the power of the Prominence for something, which we knew beforehand. The obvious connection is Prince Shade = Eclipse since Prince Shade was out (and also since their seiyuu are the same...). Also, do we need to start to put a flag up (as Japanese bloggers would say) for Fine and Eclipse? Hmmm ;)
Right now I might be slightly on the 赤い派 "red side" of things, favoring Fine a bit. She seemed to stand out a bit more than Rain this time, but Rain's little run in with the piranha plant that plant was pretty funny as well ;) However, unless something drastic happens, nobody's taking over the number one spot held by Leonne-chan, of course.
