Mahoraba 18

Well, I thought this was going to be Johnny's (and his human) chance to be the main character in an episode, but they went another direction with it, making it an anime original. Who needs to know anything about Johnny anyways? ;) Since this was fillerish stuff I'll keep it short.
Shiratori has another nightmare, this time involving all of Kozue's personalities being together at one time, but, little does he know, that day it'll become something of a reality. While everybody else is out except for Kozue and Shiratori, some cats who wondered into Narutakisou cause the "perfect storm" of situations to change Kozue into her different personalities: first, Saki-chan, then Nanako-chan (who reads picture books to the cats, then plays house with Shiratori, with her being "Mama" and Shiratori "Papa", and the cats their kids), then Chiyuri-chan (those poor cats...), then finally Natsume-chan (who puts on a magic show).
Quite a rough day for Shiratori, but fun for me to watch him deal with it ;) I guess they wanted to get Kozue's other personalities out there since we won't be seeing them for a few episodes, probably. Next time, "Everybody's Day", taking a look at the daily lives of the residents of Narutakisou, just as the title says ;)

Here I thought I wasn't going to d/l the newest Mahoraba until later...
*shakes first* blast you matthew!
i really really want to watch mahoraba too since its such an interesting and entertaining animation. The english sub is only up to episode 12, I hope they do speed it up a bit...on the other hand, nice blog ^^
Japanese related question I've always been wondering about...why does Tamami-chan say 'desu' a lot? It really creeps me out..o_0
Tsuki, it's just a way of talking "cute" or adding a unique-ness to one's speech.
... I think. ^_^;;
That's true, but in Tamami-chan's case it seems more suited to belie her actions. i.e. she "sounds" cute but doesn't "act" cute.
I won't go and derive a detailed theory about it (gack!) but it could also be that it's to 'compensate' for her lack of feminine-ness.
And yeah, it sorta creeps me out, too. Sounds like a guy pretending to sound like a girl.
(Not to say it's always creepy. Kurumi from Steel Angel Kurumi, for example, did this and it sounded quite adorable.)
hi...can anyone tell me the back story of johnny and haibara from the manga...
i quite like the character and is quite disappointed he didn't have an episode in the whole anime series...
have always wondered why johnny was the 'main' character and haibara the 'secondary' one...
