Mahoraba 20

The Narutakisou gang heads to the school festival at Kozue and Tamami's high school and enjoys the usual kind of school festival activities there. Tamami's five bullseyes at once at the archery game was impressive. Scary ;)
Buchou also shows up and does some fortunetelling for Asami ("little one") and Sayoko.. which you should pay attention to because she's right on (hint, hint). For Asami.. her card is temperance, a card that tells of the importance of things. She's a thrifty and honest person. Other ideas that the card indicates are "Complicated relationships", "A mistake of love", and "Sudden changes".. For Sayoko, her card is.. of course, death, the stoppage of everything ;) Otherwise, it indicates "A hand approaching from the darkness", "unopposable force", and "Regret that cannot recover". And there's more! "An overflowing sense of powerlessness", "conflicting feelings", "A time of decision". Sayoko hides under the table after hearing that, scared, as usual :)
After fortunetelling and visiting Kozue's class, a girl comes running to Kozue asking for help. Hiro-chan, of the orchestral club, has a little problem -- her piano player and violin player are hurt and can't play so she needs people to replace them to play Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. Can anyone do that? Sayoko raises her hand and pretends to play a violin... Momono can play piano. So they're saved? The auditorium is packed with people to watch the performance, among them, Mahiru-chan and her dojikko maid, Sakura. Momono and Sayoko take the stage wearing high school uniforms and start playing... and wow. They're pretty darn good. Never would've guessed that one ;)
Back at Mahiru's house, a man watches the footage of Asami and Sayoko Tachibana gathered. He asks Tachibana if Mahiru met Sayoko without telling him. He's not too pleased with the answer...
Y'all like Sayoko this time? Great stuff from her (and the rest of the gang) as usual :)
Buchou's fortunetelling is not in the chapter of the manga with the school festival, it's earlier on... btw, in the manga she also has nicknames for Sayoko, "Human trash", and Shiratori, tamanashi, "No-balls" ;) Anyways, having Buchou tell us Asami and Sayoko's fortunes here was an excellent move. It sets us up well for the next story thread involving Asami and Sayoko, so remember them for the next couple of episodes. I wonder if they'll cover some stuff from the manga that was skipped over since I think it'd be important for giving us the whole backstory here... We'll see.
Besides that, with the remaining episode count low, I wonder where we're going to end up with things. A second season of Mahoraba excellence wouldn't be too much to ask for, would it? ;)

You can't stop the Sayoko goodness!! :D
and Buchou !
