Wednesday Notes...
Some impressions of The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess from around the web:
GameSpy
Gamespot
IGN Cube
GameCube Advanced
Looks pretty good to me, though nothing involving Link's wolf form is playable. We'll just have to wait for that one, won't we? ;)
btw, let me point out something here that a few people don't seem to get. At least the people who don't seem to have played The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The slight pause when Link connects with an enemy is not slowdown or a technical glitch, it is done on purpose. I would expect people working for gaming sites to know better...
...I've kinda gotten myself caught up in absorbing news from E3 now so other things will have to come later on. The gamers out there can understand that, right? Anyways... non-gaming anime-watching people out there, please excuse me while e3 is going on ;)
e3 started off with a power outage and things are still not completely back up yet. And... It would seem that Sony has pulled one on us. It seems most, if not all, of the trailers of PS3 games that were shown at their press conference were pre-rendered, leaving the various tech demos by Sony, Epic, EA (and Square, yes?) as the only things running and made on real hardware. While those were no doubt impressive, I'm still waiting to see actual games here. And btw, Sony, please let me use my dual shock instead of the Batarang if you intend to keep the functionality exactly the same :P
I only grabbed a couple of hours this sleep early yesterday morning and a couple after the Nintendo press conference so I'm about to totally crash here. Anyways... I'll try to get myself caught up today. But my natural state is one of not doing anything, so it takes quite a bit of energy to overcome that, you know ;) The e3 floor opens at 1pm today so I'll be absorbing as much news as I can then so we'll see what I can get done. If I don't sleep well and end up waking up early perhaps I can get the last half of Futago Hime 3 timed/roughly translated, though I can't guarantee it. Speaking of Futago Hime...

Those ears -- kawaisugi! ;) AnimeSuki forum user Catgirls has made some Futago Hime forum avatars so y'all go check 'em out.

Cute :)
