Friday Notes...
*yawn* Sorry for being slow with writing stuff (and other things), but I've been feeling rather lethargic today. I think the 6 hours straight of PHP/MySQL programming I did a couple of days ago did me in. But if I didn't get started coding stuff Maestro'd have my head, so... ;) Watching Futago Hime and Zettai Shounen tomorrow should definitely perk me up a bit :) Anyways... since it's Friday.. random stuff..
..but before that, let me say this again: Negima is 26 episodes! Okay? I've lost count of how many times I've had to say that due to an error on a certain site... I really don't want to have to keep repeating myself here :)
Princess wa Akiramenai, Band Brothers Style
Princess wa Akiramenai (Band Brothers arrangement)
I've been playing Daigassou! Band Brothers for the Nintendo DS quite a lot recently, finally finishing the pro mode a few weeks back. Yesterday I spent some time (that should have been spent blogging stuff) transcribing and inputting Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime's opening, "Princess wa akiramenai", using Band Brothers' built-in score editor, which you can see pictured above. It's really easy to use, even easier than some desktop music programs. Song's not quite finished yet.. still got the drum part to finish along with a couple other parts (you can have up to 8 parts).
Added: I should also note here that Band Brothers was oddly absent from E3. Nintendo demoed the game at GDC in March, so I don't know exactly what happened. I suppose they didn't have a localized version with a US song list ready... hopefully it'll get a release here soon since it is a really great game, especially for the music-inclined types out there :)
Ichigo Mashimaro OP "Ichigo Complete" Promo Movie
lolitron has the Ichigo Mashimaro OP song, "Ichigo Complete", promo movie from the prologue DVD for download. I would have liked to get the DVD, not to mention the character CDs... but I have no money to spend on anime-related goods now, unlike a few other people (*cough*moyismrennekomimimode*cough*).... Just have to bear with things 'til I do scrap up some money, I guess :)
msnbc.com - Tropical Storm Arlene moves into Gulf
Speaking of things interfering with me blogging/watching stuff... my weather geek side is showing itself again after taking some time off after winter ended ;) Only 10 days into the Atlantic hurricane season and we're dealing with a tropical storm, Arlene. The latest advisory from the NHC is here. Nifty site with all the computer model runs here (Notice the URL.. "moe.met.fsu.edu".. hehe). Looks like it could become a minimal hurricane before making landfall on the Gulf coast. I've added Mobile, Alabama Pensacola, Florida to the weather section in the sidebar since that should be near where the storm makes landfall. Hopefully this season won't turn out like last... even up here in north Georgia we dealt with the effects of tropical systems then. School even got canceled one day last September due to Ivan coming through.

Ahem! :P I'm not quite the evil taskmaster Matthew's making me sound like. I wouldn't have his head, he needs it to code! ^_- I'd just hide all his CCS stuff until he finished. ^_-
The trick is to not eat anything but gummy bears for a month, then bam! The money is available. :)
