Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime 18
Fine and Rain head off to the Jewel Kingdom to watch the balloon race between the Jewel Kingdom and the Windmill Kingdom. Of course they went off without doing any of the homework Camelot gave them :P They make a rather hard landing as usual and meet up with Sophie and the prince of the Windmill Kingdom, Auraa (straight romanization, I haven't thought of a good way to write it). He seems to like Altessa..... I don't understand why (^^;;;). Altessa's there as well, and she and Sophie get along just wonderfully as usual. The queen and king of both the Windmill Kingdom and the Jewel Kingdom exchange some rather heated words as the time comes for the race to start. It's definitely not the fun race it used to be...
So it's Bright x Altessa of the Jewel Kingdom vs. Sophie x Auraa of the Windmill Kingdom. The race course itself is an obstacle course like something straight out of a videogame. Looks rather dangerous to me (^^;;) Auraa passes Bright, but Bright seems to have gotten some passion in him since fighting with Eclipse last time so he takes risks to finally catch back up. Suddenly, a strong breeze from the giant windmill on the castle that makes wind for the entire planet comes and blows both balloons, and Fine and Rain's balloon as well towards Crystal Mountain where they all crash.
So they're stuck until they can get the balloons repaired again. Altessa blames it on Auraa and Sophie since the windmill caused the wind, but Auraa says that it's been acting strange recently.. Of course that has something to do with the Sun's Blessing weakening. Altessa refuses to believe it and takes Bright off to work on reparing their balloon. It doesn't look like either balloon will be fit to fly anytime soon so it would seem like it's time to use the Prominence... but Rain has a good idea. She suggests they all help each other out. Altessa won't join in, so Fine uses the Feather Myuugram to make her do the ukiuki dance. Sophie joins in, thinking it fun, and even Auraa joins in (they're definitely siblings....). Bright and Auraa use parts from both balloons to fix things up so they soon all head back.
And it's time for today's level check. Even though they didn't use the Prominence Fine and Rain gain EXP. Though they should be very afraid of what's waiting for them back at the castle. I don't think Camelot's going to let them off easy (^^;;)
Yay for Rain-chan this time. She's a good girl, ain't she? :) Fine shouldn't have gotten the EXP this time... well, she did make Altessa dance so maybe she deserves a bit :P So I guess the point this time is that it's not good to rely on magic all the time (Where have I heard that one before?...). Sophie was a hoot as usual, and her brother.... he's clearly as much an airhead as she is since he likes Altessa :P

No, I didn't say "She's mine!" :P Anyways, isn't she a bit young to be getting married? And besides that, that big lady there would be her mom. She seems kinda scary (^^;;) She's a beaver, I believe it is. The king is human, so that means............. no comment (^^;;;)
btw, Sophie and Miruro seem to have gotten nicknames among the Japanese bloggers now. Sophie is Chikuwahime since her ears look like chikuwa (tube-shaped fish paste cake), and Miruro is Tanukihime since her ears look like a tanuki's, I guess.
