Kamichu! 3
Still no actual OP this time, just scenes from the previous episode as it was last time...
Tama, Yurie's cat, has run away from home and Yurie can't find her.. and at school, Matsuri's got a booth set up for Yurie where students can ask her to do things for them, mostly involving money matters, so she's having quite the rough time. Matsuri calls Yashima-sama for some help and he (in chibi form) comes flying in on a bird and possesses Mitsue to talk with Matsuri. Seems there's a 貧乏注意報, a binbou warning (like a weather warning) since a binbou god is approaching the area, and when it gets there it'll cause some problems, making everyone into binbous, poor (like Sayoko and Asami from Mahoraba).
Yashima-sama and Yurie get to work on writing some charms to ward off the bad luck of the binbou god while Mitsue and Matsuri gather 4-left clovers. While Yurie writes, she asks Yashima-sama what kinds of requests she should grant. He recommends she join the 神様協会, the "God Association", so she can get some help. Matsuri and Mitsue arrive back with the clovers, so they go around the town putting charms everywhere -- Yurie posts flyers about Tama as well.
As Yurie takes a bath that night, she hears a cat and looks out the window. The town across the water suddenly goes dark. Seems their plan -- rather, Yashima-sama's plan didn't work... Businesses shut down and things stop working due to the binbou god's influence. And it looks like it's come to the shrine, so they get prepared to catch it... and it's Tama, Yurie's cat. They chase after it until Yurie finally corners it on the roof. She asks it to give Tama back... The binbou god says goodbye, but the real Tama takes over, asking it not to leave. It saved her life. Like Yashima-sama, Tama wanted to go out and experience all the wide world has to offer, to go out and try something different. So she jumped into the water... but she couldn't swim and almost drowned, but the binbou god saved her. Tama feels she owes it for that and won't let it be separated from her. So she says "goodbye", but Yurie won't let her go... Tama jumps into Yurie's hands, and as she embraces Tama she starts glowing and her hair grows longer as her powers activate. The effects of the binbou god disappear from the city and things seem to be back to the way they were. So it looks like Tama and the binbou god will be staying with Yurie for now.

Animation seemed to be a step down from what it was the first two episodes. Not quite as detailed movement in most places. Might just be because the animation director was different this time. Backgrounds were pretty as usual.
FYI, Kamichu! will be taking a break next week and will be back on the 26th. Hopefully with an actual OP animation ;)
This is the cutest & most interesting new show of the season. I just love this show!

The shining Kami-cute when she released her power to cleanse the city from the Binbou-gami power really made me went "chuuuuuu..." \(^o^)/
i love the fact that it's in HD too :D woo. a fun anime to watch ^^
This was a very touching episode. This is shaping up to be a very good series.
