Da Capo Second Season 7

"Misunderstanding" would be the theme this time, with Jun'ichi and Nemu not quite getting along and not trusting each other. Nemu and Jun'ichi's misunderstandings start with Jun'ichi doing the required "accidentally enter into a room full of not completely clothed girls" since there was a rumor going around that Nemu would be examining the guys for the physical exam. He also sees Akishima-sensei seemingly being rather nice with Nemu... Yes, I did say "physical exam", so y'all know what that means -- much service ;) It seems the director learned some things about odd camera angles from Zettai Shounen or something. See Omni's writeup for screencaps of the service and such (I tend to avoid service-laden screencaps here). Hijinks ensue as Mako is rather concerned about not getting any bigger, and Miharu's rather unhappy with Kotori for "betraying" her since Kotori has grown some. For some reason "Chichi wo moge" comes into my head about this point as I'm watching ;) Moe-senpai makes an appearance, though minus the usual nabe... but as usual with no bra on, giving the guys who saw her some rather bad nosebleeds. Anyways.... Kotori brings up Jun'ichi when it's her turn to be examined by Nemu, but Mako comes in and mentions the reason he had barged in earlier.
Jun'ichi thinks things over on the school roof then goes to visit Nemu, but she's not there. He ends up hiding in a locker, having to go there after accidentally picking up the papers with the info on the girls' physical exams, as Nemu and Akishima-sensei come in and talk. Turns out Askishima was Nemu's teacher at the nursing school... and from Jun'ichi's viewpoint they seem to kiss. Jun'ichi ends up not going home and laying on a hillside, once again trying to figure things out. Aishia's there with him since she can't leave somebody that's in trouble alone. Thankfully, no magic tricks from her this time ;) Nemu goes out shopping and goes home, making supper for Jun'ichi and Aishia. When they finally arrive home she puts on a smile and tries to act like nothing's wrong... Jun'ichi brings up Akishima-sensei and they start arguing. He then asks her about the kiss he thought he saw... she starts crying and says she wanted to apologize and make up with him, but she leaves the house...
With all the service this time I was pleasantly surprised to see some more serious things going on with Nemu and Jun'ichi. So things aren't quite as rosy between Jun'ichi and Nemu, with their doubt and mistrust coming to the forefront this time... two years apart with both not knowing what each other's gone through during that period would do that. It's still pretty clear that Jun'ichi still cares a lot for Nemu, however, and Nemu the same for Jun'ichi. Though with this distance between Jun'ichi and Nemu perhaps, just perhaps, there's an opening for Kotori or one of the other girls to sneak in. Given that Nemu's the jealous type, I'm sure we'll get a fight or two like Nemu vs. Sakura of the first season. For right now I'll put my bet on Nemu to win, but we'll see ;) Still early on, and we've still got some more characters to properly introduce. MOON PHASE mentioned some of what's upcoming, and it seems like we'll continue on this Nemu and Jun'ichi misunderstanding each other thread for a couple more episodes then get to introducing those other characters, starting with Tamaki (the miko girl) in ep 10.

Aisia's 'conjuring' of Moe's bra makes me wonder if she's not so much conjuring as she is pulling things from random places. o_O;
Of course she could simply have found it somewhere and was carrying it with her, don't ask me why, but it's more fun to think she 'conjured' it in my humble opinion.
Anyways great episode. ^^
