Da Capo Second Season 8
Since I'm behind due to connection issues the past few days I'm going to try and keep this short. Go read Omni's entry if you haven't already for a better analysis of things ;)
We continue where we left off last, with Nemu and Jun'ichi not getting along well at all, and with the misunderstandings on Jun'ichi's part continuing as well. Jun'ichi tries to not think of things by acting rather weird then going out with Aishia. Aishia gets separated from him and runs into Kotori, who tells Aishia what kind of relationship Nemu and Jun'ichi have. Kotori also says that "they're lovers" -- seemingly admitting that she knows she can't compete with Nemu... When Jun'ichi and Nemu meet again at home the misunderstandings continue, even though both are trying to figure things out...
Jun'ichi finally talks with Akishima-sensei to get an answer about what his relationship with Nemu is. It's not what Jun'ichi thought, not that at all. In fact, when Nemu was going to nursing school she always said she was doing her best for her nii-san (such a nice ring to it, isn't there?) and wrote letters to him every day about what happened, though she didn't send them. Jun'ichi finally realizes what a big idiot he's been (took you long enough)...
So it looks like Nemu and Jun'ichi will finally make up soon. Though it's still too early for that to be it with the angst and drama... btw, I've liked the not completely airheaded Aishia these past couple of episodes trying to help out Jun'ichi :) Wonder where she'll fit in with the big picture of things, though... This thread should wrap up next time since the episodes for the new characters are going to get started up in episode 10 I believe it was. Though I'm sure the angst will be turned up in later episodes, though I don't know if I'd want it up at KimiNozo levels ;)
Next time, Aishia meets someone who knows a lot about Nemu and Jun'ichi... Could it be that person? The title would seem to indicate it as well -- 枯れない想い karenai omoi, "Unwithered Feelings". We shall see :)
Great episode as usual and my money is on Sakura being the "someone who knows a lot about Nemu and Jun'ichi...". ^^;
Now we just need to find a way to bring Sagisawa Misaki, the owner of 'Yoriko', into the mix. She's so cute! ^^
Unfortunately that probably won't happen. Ultimately I'll just have to make do with her role in the DCSG manga. Still I want animated Misaki-chan! ;_;
You know, Da Capo is one series that enjoy for the wrong reasons. Hint: I loathe Sakura, Nemu and Junichi.
And actually, does Sakura and Nemu really have any fans? It seems that everyone out there hates those two.
I for one have really liked what I've seen so far of Da Capo 2nd Season. And how can someone say such a ridiculously biased statement such as everyone hates those two (Nemu and Sakura.) Nemu is my favorite anime character period, ever since the first day I say Da Capo ep 1 way back when. I will stand behind Nemu if no one else will...
