Kamichu! 6
After getting over her cold from last time, Yurie's back to work. This time Matsuri's got her doing "Yurie-sama's Happy Summer Love-Love Fortune Consultation", and she's working pretty hard to try and come up with answers to the love problems girls talk to her about. One girl comes in and talks about how she likes a certain guy. But the certain guy would be Kenji. Uh-oh... The girl ran into a what looked like a rather mean dog and Kenji came along and fed the dog to calm it down, so that's how it started. Yurie ends up telling the girl to join the calligraphy club so she can be closer to Kenji -- and Yurie will come with her to be support.
So Yurie and the girl head up to the roof to find a sleeping shirtless Kenji. After that surprise they both introduce themselves and say that want to join the club -- the girl's name is Kiyomi. And surprisingly, Kenji almost remembers Yurie's name. Almost ;) So it's time for club activities, which is running for the first day. Running? What does that have to do with calligraphy? It helps Kenji write differently, he says. And so the activities continue, with them going to clean up Kenji's grandmother's house, then trying to write blindfolded, then finally getting to some normal calligraphy. With all the one-on-one help time Yurie gets with Kenji, Kiyomi seems to be noticing that Yurie likes him, however... When Kiyomi asks Yurie if that's the case, she lies and says no....
Yurie realizes that she's done something bad, so what's she to do now? The next day with letter to leave the club in hand, she goes to the roof to find Kiyomi and Kenji already there. Kiyomi's holding two pieces of paper with 先輩好き written on them. Kenji gives her no for an answer... She climbs down and tells Yurie that "It's your (god's) turn next" and runs off crying. Yurie goes up to tell Kenji that she's leaving the club and he accepts it as nothing big, then extends a hand to her. Yurie blushes a bit and shakes his hand.
At a student assembely marking the start of summer break, Kiyomi seems to have found another guy. Quick to change, aren't we? (^^;;) So summer is here... what else is there to do but have some fun? ;)
Things went back towards a more normal state of affairs this time, more like following the life of a middle schooler than of a god. I like this pace a bit better than the some of the previous eps. And Yurie was super cute as usual :) Matsuri needs to stop working Yurie so much. And stop asking her to do things that are impossible for her, too :P
Next time... you knew it was coming.

I'm sure many of you have been waiting for it ;) So with Futago Hime that makes two upcoming swimsuit eps. It is summer, after all :)
