Rieko walks home after school and runs into Makki (Masaki) who's playing an RPG game of some sort on his new cellphone. He quickly hides it behind his back -- he's using a picture of Rieko as his background on it. Reiko asks Makki if he's seen things that you normally wouldn't see -- nope, he hasn't. So that's the end of that conversation.. After stopping by home Rieko goes to her part time job at a restaurant called Tokimiya, run by an old woman, Hana. Hana notices that Rieko has something on her mind... Meanwhile, while practicing shougi a guy, Shigeki, gets a call -- Kisa's standing outside... Rieko told Hana what she saw. Hana tells her of the time her husband said he saw a kappa and she believed him since she trusted him. If you don't believe in yourself you won't believe in others, either. But Rieko still won't quite believe she saw what she saw... What you see with your eyes isn't everything, Hana says (sounds familiar, doesn't it?). What Rieko saw might be two opposing powers fighting each other according to Hana..
Shigeki and Kisa talk outside -- Shigeki doesn't go to school since he's studying to be a pro shougi player. Kisa's got something to show him -- she pulls out Bun-chan from her bag and holds it up. Shigeki (and us as well) can't see it. Kisa puts his hand on it -- he starts to see it now. A bit futher away Makki sees the two talking and also a sphere of light... Other people passing by don't seem to see Bun-chan. So what exactly is it? Shigeki thinks it might be something that was made by someone -- Kisa thinks it was born. She tells Shigeki not to tell anyone about it and he agrees.

Makki stops by Takomiya to talk to Rieko about what he saw, but Rieko has to go back to work. And when she goes back Shigeki's sitting at the counter. He knows something's up with Rieko but she won't say a thing. While he's eating Rieko asks him if he's seen things you wouldn't normally see. He avoids the question and says he anticipates his opponents' moves when he's playing shougi and has an image of a chessboard in his head -- but the most important thing is trying to see... While Kisa walks home with Bun-chan that night a dog seems to notice Bun-chan and starts barking. The old lady walking the dog pretty much completely ignores Kisa. Bun-chan opens up its shell and scares the dog away... Shift to the old guy, Jirou, from last episode -- 「もしかすると世界の枠組みが変わるかもしれない。」 Moshika suru to sekai no wakugumi ga kawaru ka mo shirenai. "Perhaps the world's framework might change"...
A boat heads into Yokohama in the morning and on board is a very familiar face -- though unfortunately not Miku-chan like I thought for a second (You're not the only one, Omni)
須河原昌キタ━━━(゚∀゚)━━━!!!
Sukawara Akira kita-!
Akira's sure she'll find what she's been looking for in Yokohama...
Not quite as much happening this time besides getting some more character introduction. Poor Makki... I know how you feel, man. Ganbare! We'll see if he can get Rieko :) Shigeki seems a pretty nice guy. And I thought Kisa didn't have any good friends. She gets along with Shigeki very well, much better than she does with Rieko. She really trusts him since she believes he can understand her. 不登校仲間 just like Miku-chan and Ayumu were in Tana. So now that everybody's seen Bun-chan how will things go forward? And when's Akira going to meet up with this group in her search for the Material Fairies? And why do some people see Bun-chan and others don't?
And we got another rather profound-seeming statement. Suppose what Jirou said would be like Heigorou-san's saying in Tana and probably means much the same thing. Though what the heck could the "world's framework" changing mean exactly? Sounds kinda scary....
So questions left to be answered as usual. There's an interesting interview with the director and scriptwriter of Zettai Shounen over at WEB Anime Style: Part 1, Part 2. They made the next ep previews useless on purpose to keep us guessing about what's going to happen (^^;;) Anyways, things certainly look like they'll get interesting :)

so the character is all different?
