Da Capo Second Season 13

Very much late this time, I know. If y'all want something that'll probably be more entertaining than reading my thoughts go over to life line by line where moyism has gone on a DCSS blogging spree over the weekend. Moy, you joined the Mosaic Ero Fantasy Alliance or something? ;)

Ahem.. getting to things this time. It's time for finals and Mako is very much distressed afterwards. Jun'ichi gets everybody else together to celebrate the end of finals and announce something: he'd like for everybody to come with him for an onsen trip. Actually, Nemu's idea... Poor Kotori :( Meanwhile, Aishia trains her magic in a place where nobody will find her, making all sorts of odd things. She tries to make some ice cream since it's so hot, but it doesn't quite work (^^;;) Back home Nemu puruses various places to decide where to go on the trip with everybody... though the real purpose is to spend some time alone with Jun'ichi. Aishia interrupts as usual just as the mood was getting good (^^;;) They ask why Aishia isn't going back to her home for the summer -- she's got to train and become the best mage... Jun'ichi takes her away and gives her the usual lecture. She actually doesn't seem to have a place to go back to... as they talk a very scary Nemu emits a very scary aura behind. As jealous as ever, ain't she? (^^;;)

Jun'ichi got a nice smack from Nemu, along with a talk. Basically, he belongs to her over the summer. She's got it all planned out (^^;;) After school Jun'ichi takes Aishia to the beach to talk about things and why she said she "doesn't have a place to go back to". She's got no family to stay with. Her parents both died when she was young so she stayed with her grandmother, a great mage who made all the people who came to her happy as they went around from village to village. Now understanding Aishia's situation, Jun'ichi says he'll cover for her. Can't say no more magic for her ;) The next morning Aishia heads out to train and runs into Misaki at the same place they met earlier, and like earlier Aishia has some worries -- was her grandmother really happy? Misaki has a good reply as usual -- Aishia's come all that way to find the answer to that question, to be like her grandmother and know that feeling she had when she helped all those people. And so the sun rises...

Well, we found out why Aishia's so fervent (just a bit too much) about being a great mage, but other than that... after not being seen or saying too much the past few episodes Kotori had a bit more of a presence this time. But poor thing... tough to watch, even though I'm not as fervent a Kotori fan as some others are ;) And Nemu hasn't changed one bit, has she? Still as possesive as ever... her and Jun'ichi are acting like a stupid couple already, with only Aishia to (unknowingly) stop them :P Also, nice to see Misaki again this time. Suppose her role will be to advise Aishia here and there...

So we're halfway through DCSS this time. Decent so far, but I'd hope things start moving a bit more soon. I do like Aishia, but I think everybody's had their fill of Aishia episodes (^^;;) Utamaru did the next episode preview for once, and the title would seem to indicate a possible move away from the silliness of the past few episodes. Still one question -- when is Sakura going to come back? ;)

Hopefully she'll appear in episode 14. More importantly though I want Misaki to become a regular. These short appearances are driving me nuts. Stop teasing already DCSS and make her a regular already! >_<

Seriously though even my patience is starting to wear far too thin with all the Aisia focus. -_-;
