Ichigo Mashimaro 6
It's hot.. too damn hot (tell me about it) as Chika, Miu, Matsuri, and Ana walk home from school. Miu suggests a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to determine who should carry everybody's bags. Poor Matsuri ends up losing... but Miu ends up carrying stuff instead. In Chika's room Miu, Chika, and Nobue relax, happy to have some air conditioning.. But Miu.. she's doing her thing as usual, acting as if she were stranded in the desert with no water in sight. Miu and Chika have another Rock, Paper, Scissors round... though with things other than Rock, Paper, or Scissors. Miu ends up losing again... Matsuri's having her own troubles as she tries to get a drink from a vending machine. She drops it and it rolls down a hill.. Meanwhile, Ana's at another vending machine nearby trying to prounounce "Ginger Ale". Someone tells her how to say it... It's the old man from the family restaurant that was the victim of Miu and Nobue's food fight. He ain't happy, not one bit, so Ana gets it out of there quickly and meets up with Matsuri... While Nobue's out buying food Miu's up to things once again, this time a "throat examination". She records herself saying "I'm hot~!" on Nobue's cell. She then gets Chika and Matsuri to do the same.. then she wants Ana to say it in English (^^;;)
When Nobue gets back everyone's asleep, with Miu in the bed. Miu wakes up.. then goes back to sleep. Then wakes up and has to go to the bathroom.. but she doesn't go since it's too hot and tries to hold it in. She finally does end up going (^^;;) While Miu's out Chika takes over the bed, and when Miu gets back she and Chika fight over it. Matsuri wakes up and moves into the bed.. so she gets involved in Chika and Miu's fight. When it's all over Nobue's sound asleep in the bed... So as to not wake Nobue up, Miu starts writing on a pad and suggests the others do the same. But why not go to another room? They met there, Miu writes.. after Matsuri writes that's she's going to the bathroom Miu draws a picture of a demon-like thing... okay.. Then Chika almost sneezes, but Miu stops it.. While Miu messes around with Chika, Ana asks Matsuri if there's a connection between ginger ale and frogs. The answer seems to be that frogs are in ginger ale (^^;;) Nobue finally wakes up so everybody goes out on the roof for some popsicles. Nobue seems to have a bit of a cold.. Miu once again does her thing, asking... well, telling Nobue that she herself is really cute..
When walking back from school the next day Miu comes up with an idea. Whoever steps in sunlight has to carry everybody's bags... Miu tries to leap across a patch.. and ends up not quite making it, so she's the pack mule once again.. Nobue's phone rings, and for her ringtone Miu's recording of "I'm hot~!" plays. Somebody's gonna be face down on the ground when Nobue gets back home (^^;;)
I think I laughed pretty much the whole time through this time. Unlike last episode, Miu was just being silly most of the time (what the heck is going on inside that head of hers?) instead of mean so I can like her :) And bringing back the old man was great. Plenty of good original additions like that this time, probably making this the best episode so far for me. Hopefully that'll continue next time. Sounds like we'll be getting the required beach episode then. And it looks like we'll get Miu trying to be a reporter as well. Once again some of my favorite chapters from the manga so it should be fun :)
