It had to happen, it just had to happen given that Aoi and Tean were in Tibet at the same time Keel and Joze were. Thanks to it being time for prayers Tean and Keel once again see each other for the first time since back at Yabbits. Joze takes Aoi hostage, but thanks to that stupid ostrich things go awry. Joze and Tean run away leaving Aoi and Keel behind, but soon after Keel leaves to find Tean and Joze... After dreaming Aoi speaks to チェンレーシ (I'm not sure how to translate her name properly)... Aoi wanted to embrace Keel after she adopted him as her son but she couldn't since it would compromise her position of taking care of everyone else as Secretary General.. She couldn't be both a mother and Secretary General, and now she regrets it...

Meanwhile, Guld has figured out that the Ulysses has ended up in France after riding the Dhola Vila. Aoi knows that as well after seeing the map that Tean and Keel's father has been creating up in the Freedom. Captain Satoyama gets the information and gathers forces in France to take on Guld... Tean informs Joze of the Ulysses' whereabouts, and they decide to hitch a ride on a nearby ship to get there... though of course Keel shows up to mess up the plan, attracting the attention of soldiers and forcing them to swim. Seems Tean is rather afraid of water -- flashback to when Tean, Keel, and their mother left the Freedom and splashed down in the ocean. The spaceship was on fire and their mother was sucked out the door during a storm.... He jumps in and almost drowns, but Keel saves him. They manage to board the ship, but how to get it to head to France? Keel thinks he can talk the captain into it so Joze tells him to try it, figuring they can use the trouble Keel's certain to cause to take over the ship. However, Keel gets captured and strung up. He thinks he's saved after the captain of the ship shows up -- the guy who Keel gambled with last time -- but that isn't quite so....

Typical idiotic Keel :P These past few episodes I've gotten to like Joze more. She's entertaining when she's pissed off :) Anyways, I was expecting things to be a bit more strained between Keel and Tean but that didn't seem to be the case. It seems like Keel will find out what Tean found out about their parents next time, so I wonder what his reaction will be to that...

And since I've missed writing about the past few episodes, I'll mention this... Aoi and Guld both seem to have the same goals -- peace -- but go about attaining the goal in different ways, reflecting their thinking. Aoi's been rather the idealist, believing that she could bring people together to make a new world; Guld her opposite, losing faith in that process and preferring force to do the convincing, though still being a rather nice guy in all regards. For now I'd say Guld's way seems to be working a bit better, stopping the fighting between the two warring countries last time... though with the leader of the 魏の国 taking advantage of both him and Aoi we'll see.

Tide-Line Blue has been getting better the past few episodes... that I haven't bothered to blog (^^;;).. but with only a few more episodes left it's going to have to move quickly to wrap up the various plot threads to bring things to a satisfying conclusion. I just hope that by the end that at least that stupid ostrich is gone :P
