Introducing... The AnimeBlogger.net Antenna
Well, I finally got around to finishing the code for the first section (of many) to go up on AnimeBlogger.net, the AnimeBlogger.net Antenna. It's basically a new and improved version of the "Elsewhere..." section y'all are familiar with here. There's an AJAXified search (oooooh.. that Web 2.0 stuff) there on the right side for quick lookup of things (it finds things as you type), and there are also pages for each show y'all are blogging, each with its own RSS feed. Here's the page for Noein, for example. Eventually (when I get around to it), there will be some basic show information as on my show pages ;) I believe I've added most of the shows I saw in all of your blogs, and most of the blogs as well, but if not... Go here and submit your feed or add a show that's not yet listed (of if you use a different title, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, or anything for a listed show add what you use as an alternate). For right now the feeds are updated every hour.
Still somewhat a work in progress, so if there are any issues send me an e-mail or say it in the shoutbox. And if somebody could be nice enough to perhaps make a button (as for the forums) for the Antenna it'd be helpful :)

That's very neat. It's finally nice to find some kind of hub where we kind see who is blogging what shows instead of jumping to each site every week.

Version 2. Up to you Matthew (and everyone else) which one you want to use. The first one is good with matching the forum button, but the second one looks slightly better overall.
Well more like the colors match a little better with the Fate-chan image. Then again, that's just the usual moy biased opinion. Enjoy! ;)

I like the second better as well, it's still consitant since the text style is the same and having the colors come from the image makes sense. :)
All three look much better than the donation banner I made. :)

How exactly are you figuring out which shows a blog entry is about? Do you just scan for keywords, or do you have access to the categories somehow?

doesn't most feeds have the category encoded in? That's what it looks like looking at my blogs' feeds =/

I think that something is screwy with the post times. It says that I made my Black Cat 3 post Saturday at 1:14 a.m. but uh, I know I was sleeping then. In fact, I posted that entry at 8:14 p.m. on Friday. And I noticed before making my entry that it was already saying that there were Saturday posts even though it was still early Friday evening.
Anyway, just thought you should know.
