ARIA 3

Quickly, since I'm kinda behind here. See Garten for the full summary and such. We're introduced to a new character this time, with a name starting with "A", of course. Alice, 14 years old, works for another guide company called Orange Planet. She's said to be a natural at being an Undine, but she's not exactly the sociable type. And for an Undine being able to keep a smile on is pretty important... of course, Alice meets Akari and things change a bit. As Akari takes Akatsuki-san (the guy we briefly saw in the first episode) around, Alice follows along, and by watching Akari, she slowly understands why she's smiling all the time. By the end, Alice finally shows us a good smile -- very kawaii :)

Yet another relaxing episode. Had a stupid smile on all the way through -- I watched this at the Student Learning Center while I was at school on Thursday so I must've looked odd to the people going by ;) Compared to the other episodes so far, this one combined far much more material from the manga into the episode, so corners were cut. However, I thought it all came together rather well in the end. Though there was a shortage of Aika and her hazukashii serif kinshi! this time. Plenty of times this episode that could've been said. I seem to have picked that line up since I said it myself when appropriate ;)

I like this episode; less talking.
These scenes are the best:
1. Akari asks Aika to stop when she sees the yellow flowers.
2. Akari is impressed by the sound of the bell, and she stays still.
3. When they appreciate the beautiful Neo-Venezia at sunset. ^^
Akatsuki is the most awesome guy character in Aria. He cracks me up, he has a kick ass shirt, his character is well-rounded. And he has a crush on Alicia. Without Akatsuki Aria would just be pretty girls rowing boats. (Not that this is a bad thing.)
