Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime 32
Tio rides along with Master Shade, ready to do training as usual.. but his tail seems to be thinking of something different, as it's bouncing along to music. The Fire Carnival in the Flame Kingdom is close, so Tio would like to go.. Shade thinks Bright might do something since it's a big event, so they head to it.

Leonne kawaii yo Leonne!
Fine, Rain, and Altessa make the usual hard landing in the Flame Kingdom, and Leonne asks them if they're okay (^^;;) Of course, the first thing Fine wants to do at the festival is eat, Rain wants to look around at clothes, and Altessa wants to look at jewelry. After that, Leonne does some fishing and catches... a fire-breathing salamander. Fine didn't know that when she picked it up, though (^^;;) Camelot and Lulu have a booth set up, but Fine and the others pass it by.. Naginyo's there, though, as usual (^^;;) Leonne goes to change into her outfit to dance the samba onstage. Altessa's rather impatient since it's hot, but it should be even hotter according to Leonne...

And Leonne comes out all dressed in her samba outfit. Too cute :) And then her ears move... waaaay too cute. With her dance she wants everybody to become a bit more happy. I don't think she'll have a problem with that ;) The king and queen are all dressed up as well, so it's time to go onstage... but nobody's there to watch. There's another stage nearby, and there... Bright is charming the audience with his hip-thrusting dance (an HG like move according to many Japanese bloggers). Everybody is shocked, heck, so am I. How far you have fallen, Bright (^^;;;;;;;) Tio is incensed by Bright messing up everything, so he rushes onstage, but even he falls under Bright's spell. Thankfully, Shade pulls him back and tells the others that there's something odd about the music... Altessa and Rain start to fall under Bright's control, but get away... Shade explains what he thinks, and Tio decides he's going to do something about it by dancing better than Bright. Shade goes to investigate some more (Altessa goes with him), and Fine, Rain, and Leonne go with Tio to get him ready to samba.
..not a good idea to have Fine and Rain in charge of dressing up Tio, as what they end up with is... well, not pretty (^^;;) Tio's got so much stuff on there's no way he can dance.. Rain remembers she has the Feather Myuugram and uses it, but it just makes him spin around and around... the audience that Leonne had gathered goes over to Bright's stage. Tio's frustrated that he couldn't do a thing, but Leonne cheers him up, telling him that he's acting just like a prince should, thinking of the people of his kingdom. Meanwhile, Bright and Altessa discover what was causing people to fall under Bright's control.. some birds whose song can control people were under the stage, so after freeing them the people are released from its spell.
Tio begins his dance on the other stage, and people follow... However, Bumo's got a backup plan and presses a red button, making a cannon raise from the stage. The cannon releases some Flame grass which, just as the name sounds, floats to the torches around and catches fire. It's time for Fine and Rain to do their thing, so they use the prominence and turn the Flame grass into a big fireworks display :)

So with that problem taken care of it's FINALLY time for what we've all been waiting for, Leonne's samba dance! And what a nice dance it is ;) Everybody else goes up onstage to dance as well.. Shade hesitates a bit, but Rain grabs his hand and tells him to come on up, and he does. And he dances quite well, actually ;) All Fine and Rain can do is the iyaiya dance, of course (^^;;;)
Quite a fun episode this time. Seems the staff was having quite a lot of fun, especially with Bright and his... dance. How embarassing (^^;;;) And Bright's dancing took time away from seeing Leonne dance, dangit! ;) Leonne was great this time, as expected. I like that lots of attention paid to her ears, wiggling them a bit here and there, and her dance (what little we saw of it) was quite cute as well. And she's such a good sister to Tio, ain't she? :) But it wasn't all Leonne this time as Rain did something interesting there at the end... do we need to throw the flag up for Shade x Rain now? Hmm... Shade x Rain would be good, but that would leave Fine with nobody... no good way to work things out so long as Bright is an idiot :P
Anyways, next time it's a Pumo and Bumo main episode. Seems it'll be the good old body switch episode, so it could be fun... but I dunno, shouldn't Fine and Rain be able to tell that Pumo isn't himself since Bumo would be saying "bumo" at the end of his sentences? ;)

Oh, God, this was one of the most random fillers ever. Bright going a la Elvis looks awkward, but he can pull it off and stuff make it look sexy, though kind of wrong at the same time.
Awww, Rein invites Shade to dance. I swear that couple is topping over my #1 favorite, which would be Bright x Shade.
Shade looks weird when he dances, and Lione reminds me of that Tachikawa Mimi icon I saw a couple o' years ago.
Hahaha, I loved it when Altessa smacked Shade over the head. That probably opens possibilities to Shade x Altessa.

This episode rocked so much!
When I saw Bright and his gyrating hips, the noise I made was akin to a "dying cat," according to my roommates. As the song goes, "...it's the pelvic thrust/that really drives you insane."
I'm still loving the Naginyo/Camelot interactions, but this ep just proved my suspicions that he's only there to get free food.

I don't get how the flaming birds can get the audience's attention. It seems like they manipulated it to make like some sort of spell.

OMG HARD GAY THRUSTING BRIGHT!!! XD lmfao... i'm sorry but i love HG... he is teh cool because he rescued a girl live on TV from a guy who was bothering her... HG gets 100 points in my book :}

Aargh...I should really stop reading synopses (synopae?) of this series, since it just makes me sad fansubbers aren't subbing it. Not that I blame Matthew for stopping, it's got to be a lot of work...guess this just gives me an incentive to learn Japanese ^_^

Well, you can always do what I do. Watch the raws and then read matthew's summary ;)
Well... You'll probably not understand most of the dialog, but you'll get a good idea of what's going on, and just looking at kawaii Rain and Fine (and the rest) is still a lot of fun!

I think there's something up with Nagi-sama....I mean when Princess Grace gave them their new powers time stopped, but it didn't effect Nagi! Hmmm
