It's all President Aria (◎ω◎) all the time in this 2-part President Aria special! ;)
In the first part... It's pretty quiet at Aria Company so it's time for some cleaning as Akari explains to Ai-chan in the usual e-mail. President Aria wants to help out, but all he does is get in the way. He tries to make some stew.... and it ends up very much inedible (^^;;) So he runs away, typing up a note to Akari and Alicia saying not to search for him. Of course, they assume he was going away since he knew he was getting in the way.... there's not really anywhere for him to go so he wonders around then stops to eat lunch.. he think's he's made friends with a bird, but then the bird eats his onigiri... and then he almost gets taken all the way back to Earth by a (cute) girl.. and was that doll she was carrying Ke○ro? ;) President Aria thinks of visiting President Hime, but she's with Aika so he heads on back and eats what's left of his onigiri on the roof of Aria Company.. and then he can't get down (^^;;) Alicia gets him and they all sit down to eat.. and somehow, Alicia has made a new and improved version of President Aria's special stew that's actually edible. Amazing (^^;;)
Ai-chan replies that she feels almost like the happiness that surrounds Aria Company is reaching her.

And in part 2.... President Aria seems to be a big fan of this Nyannyanpuu superhero cat character, pretending to be him and omg actually making sounds that resemble an actual cat ;) He's actually got a henshin set of the character and slips out, transforming into a superhero, ready to help those in need!..... after a girl forgets her doll at a shop President Aria "asks" the shop owner if he can take the doll back to the girl. President Aria gets the doll and chases after the girl, BUT!... a praying mantis stands in his way. He's very scared of it (^^;;;) He then runs into Athena, who recognizes him immediately because of his mochimochiponpon.. so much for keeping his true identity secret... he then runs into Aika, who's talking to some boy, and President Hime. President Hime seems to like this superhero, not having realized that it's President Aria... until Aika says that it's just President Aria (^^;;) He then goes through a scary forest... and there his ultimate enemy awaits -- it's Maa-kun!

shachou no mochimochiponpon ga~! (President Aria's mochimochiponpon is~!)
...Maa-kun latches onto President Aria's mochimochiponpon and has to be pryed off by Alice. After going through all of that, he finds Akari helping out some circus guy that's juggling or doing something else with some balls. President Aria ends up balancing on top of a ball. Impressive :) He spots the girl that the doll belongs to in the audience and runs off to give it back to her.. but he slips on a banana peel and lands in a puddle (^^;;) Even so, he leaves the doll at the door and the girl comes out, very happy to find her doll. His job done, President Aria heads back to Aria Company in the sunset. Perhaps President Aria really is a hero as Ai-chan says ;)
A great episode if you're a (◎ω◎) President Aria fan (perhaps President Aria-moe?), and even for a not-quite-so-huge fan of President Aria like me it was really funny. Poor thing has to go through a lot ;) Nothing much more to say about it than that. (◎ω◎)puinyuu~!
Next time, Akari and the rest in yukatas :)
It should be noted that martian cats are believed to have human-like intelligence - thus, how Aria-shachou can do stuff like tie knots and type. But I'm always confused how he accomplishes all this without having thumbs... ^^;;
Hey,
I've only seen the first episose of this anime. From what I've seen, the art looks amazingly cute. My only problem is that this anime drags on a bit, and the overall story seems a bit oblivious. Will this anime stay like this, or are the following episodes improving on the first one?
Anyway, I love your blog. Keep up the good work. ^_^
Yeah, but is President Aria really a cat? He doesn't look like the other cats and I've never seen a cat that looks like him. ^_^
He's funny, but given his bizarre appearance it might be equally likely that he can type and stuff because he's a freak of nature. ^_-
Now I know why they call him the president. Neko Power!!
Uh. An episode full of "puinyuu".
Btw two lolis in this episodes. Omega-kawaii!!! ^^;
(That'll compensate for turning Ai-chan into a voice only chara).
Watching this episode made me feel like reading manga too.
I do not like how they introduced Albert in this episode, like BAM they just threw him in without any introduction.
Yeah, that bothered me too. Hopefully he'll have a proper introduction later.
