TGIF!
This story from ANN is somewhat troubling to me as someone who frequently orders imported goods. Akadot's explanation of the situation is here. I'm disappointed that Funimation would do this, as it seems nothing but a move motivated by greed on their part, and hope that they reconsider (and that they think about it before taking similar action with any of their other licenses), as by doing this they only alienate the hardcore fans who would spend that extra money to buy that imported soundtrack... or perhaps buy goods from them as well, which I was going to do when they released Tsukuyomi, but I'll have to think about that now. What is it with companies making all these awful PR decisions lately?
Ugh... hate having to catch the Orbit bus here on Friday afternoons. It's always packed full (you have to fight your way through if you want to get on) and I always end up waiting for the next bus (or the one after). Though I actually walked to the place on campus where I work today (it ain't really too far away from where my previous class is). Anyways, glad it's finally Friday :) I think I made up for all the sleep I didn't get earlier this week last night since I was out pretty much as soon as I got home and didn't wake up 'til morning. Hence no blogging last night, so I'll have to do it all after I get home. I'm feeling a bit more on top of things this week so I should be able to do it ;)
And... as y'all probably know by now, today would be my birthday. 24 and still not out of school :P No plans for any party or anything like that tonight (my friends are a busy bunch these days), just the usual cake and such at home. Anyways, I believe that's all I've got for now ;)

Happy Birthday (^_^)

Happy Birthday. :)
Well Funimation certainly has gotten a reaction out of me. Effective immediately I will not buy anything they make, none of it. I have a basic understanding of the legalities here and Funimation is making things up as they go along. Even to those who don't understand the legal side it's pretty clear that Funimation misrepresented their case to Akadot's hosting company.
So to Funimation: Congrats guys, my last blog post was about how much you've changed. Now I'll do without series I desperately want to keep my money from supporting your company. I really hope your sales plummet like a rock.
