Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime 36

Though I haven't blogged anything else since Monday, I can always been counted on to do Futago Hime, of course ;) Anyways...
We're still in the Water Drop Kingdom for the 3rd episode in a row this time. Queen Yarmul demands that Miruro win "Best Art Princess", not messing around like Fine and Rain... Miruro tries to speak up, but someone comes in to tell the queen that there's apparently something wrong with the cloud making machine.. Fine and Rain are there for the princess party of course, and they hurry along to get prepared. They're kneading this weird.. blue.. flour? for some reason (^^;;) The other princesses are all there and in a pretty good mood. Altessa boasts that she'll win this time... Sophie agrees, pulling out a picture that Altessa drew of something that somewhat resembles an elephant but looks more like a tanuki to her. That's our Sophie! (^^;;)
The queen and king look over the cloud making machine. Seems like it'll need to be repaired, and that'll take more money.. Bright comes in once again offering a plan to help them get that money by making the other kingdoms pay to get rain. Yarmul refuses as she did before... The party finally gets started, and first up are Fine and Rain:

....well, what else would you expect from the most un-princess-like princess(ry. Fine and Rain think the crowd loves it, so they do the uketa dance, but while dancing their monstrous creation falls on top of them (^^;;)

Next up, the Seed Kingdom Princesses, all 11 of them. Very nice :)

リオーネかわいいよリオーネ!
Leonne kawaii yo Leonne!
Had to say it ;) Leonne made a statue of Bo Dragon. Once again, nice :)

Sophie's made a wind chime (very fitting). Did she really make that all by herself? I'm impressed ;)

Milky drew a picture of her big brother. So sweet :) Miruro's next up with Altessa to follow. Not a great position to be in for Altessa considering her... statue of her brother? (^^;;) Speaking of him, Bright comes in telling Altessa to not get so depressed....

Miruro's painting is, as expected, wonderful. The crowd loves it :)

ミルロかわいいよミルロ!!
Miruro kawaii yo Miruro!!

..Bright embraces his sister, saying he was foolish before, but that now he'll protect her.. as the king of the Mysterious Planet. Altessa looks up to see a rather scary face. The kids are going to have nightmares yet again (^^;;;) Bright walks out with Altessa, then uses the power of the dark prominence to turn Altessa's statue into a giant statue of him and Bumo up on top of the castle. It's actually also a device to create clouds then control where those clouds go. Bright gets the queen and king under his power, telling them that they can use it to control who gets rain and who doesn't, sending the clouds only to those who follow their demands. The queen then announces Altessa as "Best Art Princess". And, she also announces that those kingdoms that wish to have clouds and rain must pay for it now...
..and now it's time for Fine and Rain to do their thing, so they transform and use the Prominence, but like last time it's useless against Bright. Bright causes a storm of rain and wind within the castle. As Altessa cries, Fine and Rain come to tell her not to give up. They'll never give up! With the power of the other princesses wishes', a bright light shines and Princess Grace appears, granting Fine and Rain....

Twinkle Eternal Solar bloomish!
Fine and Rain's newfound power as Eternal Solar Princesses makes the statue of Bright/Bumo disappear. Bright and Bumo make a quick exit... Fine and Rain felt the feeling of the other princesses flowing through them, that's what gave them that power. Pumo's moved to tears ;) The queen and king snap out of their trance, getting the princess party underway again. They offer the best princess to Altessa, but since she wants to win using her own power, she refuses it. I'm impressed ;) Sophie once again has something to say to piss Altessa off. That's why I like her ;) With their new powers, Fine and Rain should be able to save Bright, they should be able to do anything.
...Naginyo actually says something that makes sense for once: "The lengendary light has appeared/ People's hearts are being tested/The time of darkness nears/Where could the world's fate be headed?".
Seems like Naginyo is more than he appears to be. He's got something to tell Fine and Rain next time as they begin a little treasure hunt for the Grace Stones that are in each of the kingdoms of the Mysterious Planet. Kinda like an RPG, ain't it? ;) Though I still have absolutely no idea how this level system works. I would've thought it'd take a bit more EXP to level up (how are we supposed to know how much EXP they've gotten since they don't do the star vial check anymore?) to the highest level of Eternal Solar Princess. Well, everybody wishes for Fine and Rain to do well so that's fine, I guess ;) As for their new transformation and dresses... the transformation is very cute :) But, ehhhhh, I think I liked the previous dresses a bit better. I still miss "Fan-Fan-Fine" and "Ran-Ran-Rain" anyways :P
Some other blogs I read have said the animation wasn't that great this time (very low, in fact), and yes, in places it was noticeably not all that great (seemed to be the same way with another show HAL is doing, ARIA, this week as well), but I'm not extremely worried about it. So long as it's cute it's okay, no problem ;) Anyways, I would've thought we might have resolved the problem Miruro and her mother were having the past couple of episodes, but I guess they left it to be taken care of later, hopefully. Fine and Rain will be back in the Water Drop Kingdom in episode 41, so perhaps then.. though I see no mention of Miruro in the summary for that ep... would it be too much to ask to see her a bit more before things end? Until she shows up again, one last time just for the heck of it: ミルロかわいいよミルロ!! ミルロテラモエス! I should also mention that the episode before that one is in the Flame Kingdom, so I'll be hoping for more cute Leonne :)
btw, for those wondering, I still haven't gotten my order for the Twinkle Princess figures and other stuff I mentioned last time from HLJ. Still waiting for them to get the character detail book in stock, which I would think they should have in the next few days since it was released a couple of days ago. The reviews for it are very good. Basically, they all say to absolutely buy it if you're a Futago Hime fan ;) The first volume of the manga was also released this week as was mentioned and I do plan to get it. However, I believe I'll wait for my next paycheck in a couple of weeks so I'll have a bit more money to spend since there are other things I'd like to get ;)

Fine and Rain probably got their level up for their extreme determination and courage to go against Bright, whose powers outstripped their Level 4: Fortune Princess Prominence. They were also under support from all of the other princesses.
When is Fine and Rain going to win the title of a Princess Party?
