Sore yuke! Tetsunoshin 7
Rumi-chan's all excited about the upcoming school field trip to Hawaii, but Masao (her father) is decidedly less so after seeing how much it would cost... top class hotel, full cource meals, etc., etc.... well, it is that kinda school (^^;;) There's no way the family can afford it so Rumi-chan's just going to have to stay home.. Tetsunoshin doesn't want to see that happen, so he goes to Seto-sama to ask him what to do. Work, he says (while getting a massage from Meg... bet he hasn't worked a day in his life). But what are dogs supposed to do to make money? After seeing a delivery man at Aya's place Tetsunoshin's got the idea -- dog delivery service. Seto-sama okays it (wanting a cut of 25%, of course) and Hakase's got a nice flying kickboard for them to use, along with a very nice website. The orders start coming in and business goes quite well... Tetsunoshin even gets an order from Gary, telling him to deliver him.. returned, definitely :P Anyways, Reika, seeing a spot about the new Hills Dog Express on TV, can't stand seeing those upstart Hills types getting all the attention so she calls daddy...
And not much later there's a rival delivery service called SAM. Of course, since Kurogane set it up it's a rather underhanded operation, stealing goods from Tetsunoshin and the others and then telling the customers that the dogs lost it and all. An order for a delivery comes in from Rumi-chan and Tetsunoshin takes it. Rumi-chan's heard that bark somewhere before.. can't you tell by looking, Rumi-chan? (^^;;) However, Rumi-chan realizes that she's messed up and tries to get her delivery back, but by that time one of the SAM riders has taken it from Tetsunoshin, so she chases after him and grabs onto his bike. The chase gets even faster after that, causing both riders to lose their brakes (^^;;) But of course Hakase's got a plan -- he mobilizes a weird crab statue to catch both riders. The speed causes the crab to break apart and Rumi-chan to fall, but right then Celeb Knight shows up to save her.
When Rumi-chan wakes up Tetsunoshin is there with her bag. Turns out that it was a scarf for Tetsunoshin. How sweet :) Back in Dog Paradise, Hakase has erased all evidence that Hills Dog Express existed since it would get some attention after that little incident... isn't that quite illegal? (^^;;) Later that night, Tetsunoshin shows up and gives Masao a check from Celeb Knight to pay for Rumi-chan's trip to Hawaii. Meanwhile, Rumi-chan sleeps soundly... terakawaisu!
And we go back to the usual money-making hijinks this time... You know, wouldn't people normally think it odd to see dogs flying around doing deliveries? And shouldn't a show about economics not teach kids to do things that are against the law -- insider trading, getting rid of evidence, etc.? (^^;;)
Next time, Rumi-chan and Yuki-chan go to the beach in Hawaii on their class field trip!... or so you would think (and perhaps hope), but that's not what's coming next time, unfortunately.. something about ninjas. Oh well ;)
