Animal Yokochou 25

After helping.... well, not really helping Ami-chan practice for the play (Saiyuki) she's doing at ther kindergarten last week, Iyo, Issa, and Kenta want to go and see it this time. Kenta wants to see Kuu-chan, of course...

ケンタ:「くーちゃんの観音様...なんてすばらしいんだ~!」
Kenta: Kuu-chan no Kannon-sama... nante subarashii n'da~!
Kenta: Kuu-chan's Kannon-sama... how wonderful!
ケンタ:「くーちゃんの観音様を、この目で拝むんだ!」
Kenta: Kuu-chan no Kannon-sama wo, kono me de ogamu n'da!
Kenta: I'm going to see Kuu-chan's Kannon-sama with my own eyes!
I suppose most of y'all are familiar with the Buddhist bodhisattva Kannon, yes? However, Kannon-sama also has another meaning when used as slang which is... not appropriate to say the least (if you must know check after the jump). I'll just assume that the people writing the script this time didn't know that... hopefully (^^;;) Ahem...
Anyways, thanks to Yamanami-san's pekoponjin suits human kid kigurumis, Iyo, Issa, and Kenta are able to go to Ami-chan's kindergarten. In the hall there's a bulletin board with some of the kids' drawings on it -- Ami-chan's looks like a normal 5-year old kids' drawing, but Kuu-chan's.... is a drawing of the battery she gave Kenta (^^;;) They find Ami-chan dressed up and ready for her play. She's not exactly thrilled to have them there, of course...

And here's Kuu-chan's Kannon-sama. Very cute :)
Ami-chan and the rest run into Ami-chan's teacher in the hall, Ako, 25 year old meganekko with a passion for teaching. Though she doesn't look anything like it... the play starts and ends (we don't see it) and everybody goes back home.

ケンタ:「くーちゃんの観音様は最高だった!!」
Kenta: Kuu-chan no Kannon-sama wa saikou datta!
Kenta: Kuu-chan's Kannon-sama was the best!
どう見ても変態クマです。本当にあr(ry
Dou mite mo hentai kuma desu. Hontou ni ar(ry
No matter how you look at it, he's a perverted bear. Thank y(ry
...and at this point I just about spilled the coke I was drinking (^^;;) Kannon-sama is slang for a part of the female anatomy that begins with "c" and ends with "lit" (^^;;)The week before last was "How about changing into a swimsuit next?", then last week was "Let's play doctor"... Kenta, you've gotta stop saying stuff like that, this is supposed to be a kids' show, you know (^^;;)

And in the B part Ami-chan seems to be depressed when she comes home... while Kenta and Issa are acting out a show that's very popular in Aniyoko that is not named Winter Sonata ;) Ami-chan's mother tells her to come down to help with moving... moving? Like moving away? Iyo, Issa, and Kenta panic, thinking that Ami-chan's going to be moving away, and try to come up with a plan to keep her there. Of course everything they come up with is ridiculous and wouldn't work. Kuu-chan then comes with a note about a farewell party. But actually.... when Ami-chan comes home with Kuu-chan she explains that she was helping the new neighbor move in, actually that mangaka that she really likes. And that party? Apparently Kuu-chan is going to be put in the advanced class at kindergarten. Ami-chan was depressed since she didn't do well enough on all that homework to get in. Hold on a sec here, so Kuu-chan is smarter than Ami-chan? Well, she can make batteries that actually work all by herself... And in the first place, I've never heard of a kindergarten like that (^^;;)
Anyways, it's time for a snack, but as Kenta reaches Iyo smacks his hand away. He's a stuffed animal. He had just about forgotten... but Kuu-chan's got another battery for him (^^;;)
Yet another in a string of rather insane episodes these past few weeks. I really should go back and blog them a bit for y'all since they really were funny, but my laziness probably won't let that happen. Anyways, this isn't the end for Animal Yokochou as it'll be moving to a new time slot 30 minutes earlier next week. Apparently there's going to be a new OP and ED as well. I read somewhere that the new ED is going to be sung by Fumiko Orikasa, whom y'all might remember sang the ED for Ichigo Mashimaro. It'll take a lot to match the 1st OP/ED, but I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing them. So what's coming up next time?

...mahou shoujo Yamanami-san. Now, I do like mahou shoujo a lot, but this... I'm not so sure I really want to see it (^^;;)
