Saturday Notes...
Good Saturday morning for those up early... Well, that was a nice long nap there. Think I made up all the sleep I didn't get this week (^^;;) Anyways, the last episode of Futago Hime will be first priority today, I'll try to get caught up with everything else after that.
Kanon Gets Turned Into Anime Again
It was announced at the Tokyo Anime Fair that Kanon will once again be made into an anime to air this fall, this time by Kyoto Animation. A promo movie was also shown. The previous Kanon anime was made back in 2001 by Toei Animation. Yay, I get to see Ayu again! (Ugu~~)
NHK ni Youkoso This Summer
I remember one of the other bloggers calling last summer the "Summer of Loli" (or something similar) since stuff like Ichigo Mashimaro and such was on, and this summer looks to be the same with Chokotto Sister and now NHK ni Youkoso to air this summer. Gonzo will be doing the animation.
Website Updates
Yoshinaga-san'chi no Gargoyle - Promo movies and wallpaper
Zero no Tsukaima - Top picture changed to anime character design now

Man, so I went and checked out the NHK manga... it's gotta be one of the best things I've read in a long time. I hope the anime does it justice...
Thanks for the Kanon-remade news and link! I'm soooo looking forward to Horie Yui's Tsukimiya Ayu! Woot!
Kanon remade by Kyoto Animation sounds too good to be true, it's getting close to April 1st so not sure I should believe this ^_^;
I just finished re-watching the original Kanon series, and other than the character designs I can't think of much to improve on. The original did a good job of being bittersweet without being depressing, if it does get remade hopefully they'll walk the same line well.
This is THE anime that I will be waiting for.
Kanon will be 24 episodes in length which gives Kyoto more room than Toei in implementing the story. Given the length of the original game, 24 episodes should allow for the 5 stories merged into 1 to be told with detail without being rushed. (A criticism for AIR TV is the hectic pacing of the arcs)
BTW, AIR on Blu-ray looks incredable. I cannot believe the screenshot of the demo. Now how to get ahold of a PS3 and find the dough to afford AIR on Blu-ray when it hits the stores...
