ほっちゃーん! ほ、ほーっ、ホアアーッ!! ホアーッ!!
Hocchan! Ho, hooo, hoaaa!! Hoaa!!

Like Mamiko Noto fans have Noto kawaii yo Noto!, Yui Horie fans have this. Helpful to recognize it since you'll find this expression used on blogs and during jikkyous and the like whenever she shows up. It's supposedly what a journalist heard her fans screaming while covering a Futakoi event, but it actually wasn't said at all. Lesson over ;)

This time Nadesico stays with Keita and Youko on the suggestion that Keita made last time, supposedly so she could be an example for Youko to follow. Of course he's more interested in doing this thing and that thing to her than anything else, which makes Youko rather mad. Youko tries to prove she's as good as Nadesico, but she can't compare -- Nadesico beats her in every way. Cleaning, cooking, tails... and melons, too ;)

Meanwhile, Kaoru-sama's inukami hold the 23rd Banish Nadesico Commitee Meeting... not exactly nice there. Tomohane and Tayune come back with a report on Nadesico, saying that she seems to be getting along well with Keita. If they could get her to stay there they'd be done with things, but one person is in their way -- Youko. Tomohane suggests that they just go ahead and get rid of her -- what a nice kid (^^;;)

Youko eventually goes to confront Sendan and the other inukami, leaving a note for Nadesico that tells her not to tell Keita. She does anyways, but Keita doesn't seem to care much, reading the newspaper. Even the power of that many inukami isn't enough to overcome Youko's powers, so it's not much of a fight at all. She even manages to swipe Tomohane's pantsu... so I suppose that means it's okay to show pantsu on TV Tokyo if nobody's wearing them. I still don't get their rules :P Anyways, the inukami get serious and transform into dogs to attack Youko, but once again she easily takes care of them. Nadesico soon arrives on the scene and steps in. That's enough to make Youko stop since she's "scared" of Nadesico.

So it all works out in the end with Nadesico being accepted by her comrades. She makes a call to that mysterious Kaoru-sama, saying that she only did as she was told and that she wants to be beside his side forever....

As for Youko, she seems like she might do a bit more for Keita now... though I'll believe it when I see it. Though he is an idiot and doesn't much act like he cares for Youko, it does seem like he trusts her enough to take care of things. It is a rather "corny" story if you have to say so, but nothing wrong with that at all as I enjoyed things this time. I've had my fill of elephants and macho "dogs" and such, thank you ;) I'll take Nadesico over that any day. Of the other inukami she's the only one that leaves a positive impression on me. Youko was quite fun to watch as well... though when she fights she's rather scary. That trick she pulled on Tomohane was rather impressive... did Tomohane ever get those back? ;) Since this is the Nanoha/Nanoha A's staff, I'm hoping to see even better fights as we go forward.

The question now is when will we learn more about the mysterious Kaoru-sama? All we know for now is that he's Keita's cousin and that those 10 inukami work for him. Outside of Nadesico, the inukami don't have good relations with Keita and Youko at all, so something must've happened to sour relations... the title next time is "Keita and Youko" so perhaps we'll learn more about how they met. And please, I don't need the narration in the next episode preview that has just about nothing to do with it -- this time talking about how the Olympics were originally done in the nude, and that the narrator himself sleeps naked. No thank you.
