Uma, Pachira, Liru, and Aiko (Keimi's there, too!), trying to improve their English conversational skills... I guess... play a little game. Each has to identify an object in English, no Japanese allowed. If you get it wrong or say something in Japanese you have to drink a can of this rather foul brown liquid in one shot. And so the game goes on, with each girl eventually messing up and having to drink. Poor Aiko has some trouble dealing with it, as she overheats and crashes a couple of times (^^;;) But when she messes up Keimi has to drink for her since she can't drink or eat anything. We finally see what it is that they're drinking -- Strawberry Natto juice... yuck to say the least. Apparently Aiko bought 6 cases of it from a salesman that came by since it's supposed to be good for you (^^;;)

While Uma and the rest watch TV, Super Dr. Keiko appears on the program they're watching, saying she's going to show everybody that monsters really do exist. A TV crew ends up coming -- they're live on national TV. But thanks to Uma's magic -- well, not really magic, y'all know what I mean -- it has the opposite effect of what Dr. Keiko intended, making them into celebrities. They all appear on a program to debate whether or not monsters are dangerous, with Dr. Keiko trying to argue her side but losing -- how could nice girls like them be monsters? Uma, as the leader, offers to show off a bit of her magic to everybody there... and what happened back in episode 1 happens again, though this time on live TV. haitenai -- Uma says that they weren't dried so she went without (^^;;;) After that display of public indecency the mass media treat them as monsters and surround their house.... but the next day they're gone, having found something more interesting to show on TV.. that's the mass media for you.

Animation quality wasn't up to the standards of previous episodes, but both episodes were fun enough. The episode almost entirely in English was somewhat odd to watch. It wasn't exactly correct as far as grammar, but close enough, I guess. btw, the director of Kamichu!, Kouji Masunari, did the storyboards for that episode.

Next time is the last episode of Magical Pokan, unfortunately. It's been really fun to watch so far, so hopefully it'll end with a good one :)

Keimi would be the invisible person ;)

I'd seen her name in the credits, but never noticed any invisible person until this episode.
