Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime Gyu! 15

Toma once again speaks to that painting, now in a hidden room behind a mirror in the school, saying there's nothing to worry about... In the library, Chiffon's found a book with something about a painting of a prince and princess that was in the old schoolhouse. They were said to have lived in happiness from the day they married until they died, and the painting of them was a sort of guardian deity of the school. Toma comes and interrupts the conversation with a favor to ask of Fine and Rein -- he wants to be a part of their school friendship project. Fine and Rein are more than happy to have him... it's got to be the fushigi power of the fushigi HiME hime ;) They have no idea what evil plan Toma has in store for them, though... Shade seems rather suspicious of Toma.
Toma wants to put on a play. Fine and Rein think it a great idea, but Shade has an objection -- he saw someone that time when the boar wrecked the greenhouse. He can't trust Toma saying he wants to help simply because he's Toma.. Fine laughs and says Shade's overeacting, explaning that Toma's a scholarship student so he'd be studying all the time and not have time to do such things. Toma's now a commoner, but he was once a prince of the Walpurgis Planet. He left, separated from his friends, which was quite rough... so that's why he wants to show people that they don't need friends. Fine suggests using Toma's story as the story for the play, and Rein agrees. But will the vice principal allow such a thing? Toma goes to ask the vice principal for permission to put on a play, and with the headmaster's backing he gets it.
Fine and Rein gather students to help out with the play, getting quite a crowd. Elizabert's once again left out... Toma has no intention of making the play about friendship, of course, since something like friendship is... let's say it together -- hitsuyou nai! (not necessary!).

Preparations for the play get underway with building the set and props (set to the instrumental version of "Oshare Fantasy"). Miruro's helping paint, of course, though she doesn't say anything ;) There are a couple of "happenings" to remind us that the Fine x Shade and Bright x Rein flags are still alive. The centerpiece of the set is a huge scary-looking monument that Toma says is the god of the village. While trying to stand it up it almost falls, but Toma steps in to keep it from falling. Rein feels like she's seen the face on the monument before.. she and Fine have to try hard to contain their laughter, but it's no use. They, along with everybody else has a good laugh at Altessa's expense. Toma laughs to play along... oh, that wasn't acting there? He got caught up in what was going on and let himself laugh. He's got to remember his purpose, and he's about had it...
Carla and Shasha set up a tent for a play put on by Elizabert, but nobody's there, save for Fango who has zero interest in it... Toma suggests they take a break for now, so everybody walks out to have a snack. Fine and Rein are happy with how things are coming along. Elizabert, Carla, and Shasha are checking out what's going on with Toma's play when the lights go out... and it's that time again -- stuff "going well" isn't needed at this school. Yeah, yeah ;) Anyways, the monument comes to life and attacks Elizabert and co., so it's time for Fine and Rein to do their thing. The sets and props they made are wrecked... Of all people, Fango steps in to save Elizabert, then tries fighting the monument. He gets caught, though, so Fine and Rein need to finish things off, which they do easily.
Though what they worked so hard on is broken, Fine and Rein and the rest are ready to do it all over again. They even invite Elizabert to participate. She's got no choice, so... Then Fango calls her a baka, making her rather mad.. well, it is true. Toma's dumbfounded that everybody's so happy instead of gloomy... but he'll show them once the play starts.
Well, we'll see about that Toma-kun... Fine and Rein have a thing for turning people around to their side as he found out this time ;) With the developments over the past few episodes it looks like the very fun hitsuyou nai time with Toma is going to be ending fairly soon... we got a bit more of his backstory this time, so perhaps we'll come back to it later on?
Anyways, I was rather surprised by the Elizabert x Fango flag this time. That's quite an unexpected couple there, isn't it? Beta-sama was pretty cute for once when she got mad at Fango ;) Maybe something will come of that in upcoming episodes...
Next time, we'll find out what's really going with Toma as the play starts. No part for Miruro in the play, I guess...

I agree Elizabert is so cute. And She is funny too.
Her saying "gyahun" was so funny.
Don't forget about the AulerxToma flag (Toma *did* save Auler when the monument almost fell, after all ^_~). Though, going by how the 'happenings' were, well, happening, shouldn't Altessa have been in danger with Auler saving her?
