Otogi Juushi Akazukin 6
Shirayuki uses her magic to reveal a gate to Fandavale at a playground. It's getting rather small so they're going to have to return soon before it closes...
Ringo seems to be in a very good mood this time, skipping around since there's a festival coming up. Ringo gives Souta a list of ingredients for her special potato stew and tells him to come along with her to get stuff later, then skips away. Souta then feels something looking at him... back at Souta's house, Akazukin, ready with a frying pan, and Val-sama are going to try and wake Ibara up. Of course, Ibara ends up halfway awake, her vines chasing Akazukin and Val-sama around the room.
Shirayuki comes back to find Akazukin and Val-sama bandaged up after getting stuck by Ibara's vines. For some reason Val-sama is watching a show on TV about dogs. I thought you were a wolf (^^;;) Shirayuki tells them that the road to Fandavale is closing. Something must've happened to the king, so Ibara must've come to tell them about it. They have to return to Fandavale as quickly as possible. But what about Souta? He says he wants to go -- he heard the last part of their conversation...
Souta goes with Ringo to buy ingredients for her stew, and on the way back says he won't be able to help out at the festival since he's got somewhere he has to go -- Fandavale, together with Akazukin and the rest. Ringo says no -- he can't go off to some unknown world where something might happen to him. He can't do anything without her around.. but he still wants to go. Ringo takes the grocery bag from Souta and runs off...
Something was watching Souta -- Hansel's spy whatever it is had an eye on Souta, and now he knows where to find him. Randagio wants another chance, but Hansel won't give it to him. The same goes for Gretel -- he thought she would done better than she did.... Gretel's going to try again.
Souta, in a rush to get ready for school, awakens Shirayuki and Akazukin (who are sleeping in his room...). At school, Ringo goes tsuntsun on him, not saying a word. After school, Souta calls his father to tell him he'll be away from the house for a bit. That night, Akazukin asks Souta if he's made up with Ringo.. he doesn't answer. So he had a fight with her over going to Fandavale? Yes, but there's nothing to be done about it now...
The day of the festival comes and Ringo's running a stand selling her potato and meat stew. Her two cute friends come along and have a bit -- they say it tastes different than usual, that something's missing. That would be Souta -- food tastes better when you want someone else to try it. They tell her to make it again and leave... and that she does with Souta in mind, and this time it tastes a lot better.
After the festival, Ringo excitedly runs back to Souta's house, but nobody seems to be home. What's she doing with the key to the house anyways? ;) Upstairs in Souta's room is a camcorder with a video message from him, saying that he's left for Fandavale. In the background Val-sama and Akazukin are having trouble with Ibara's vines again (^^;;) Ringo pulls out her phone and calls Souta -- thankfully, they haven't left yet -- and tells him to stay put where he is. But something's there...
It's Randagio, and he's brought along a couple of mole monsters this time. Jusiii~!, and Akazukin tries to fight them, but doesn't have any luck since they keep burrowing. For a second I thought they were going to do a game of Whack-A-Mole or something (^^;;) Anyways, time for Ibara -- she's still sleepy, but her vines run through the holes dug by the monsters and drag them out, letting Akazkuin attack (and Ibara finally wakes up after that).
Randagio's failed, but Gretel won't... from her perch on a building she sees Ringo running along below and decides she can use her. She takes Ringo away...
Uh-oh... but if Souta had invited Ringo to go along with him to Fandavale this wouldn't have happend in the first place. I really have a difficult time understanding how Souta thinks sometimes... Anyways, now that Ringo's been kidnapped what are they going to do now? Judging from the next ep preview, it would seem they'll be in Erde for a bit to fight Gretel, but will be heading to Fandavale next time. Hopefully Ringo won't be out of the picture for too long, but we'll see... she's the only character in the whole show that thinks straight, so I'd be worried if Souta went too long without her (^^;;) Now that Hansel's pretty much disowned Gretel (as expected), the time when Gretel comes over to Souta's harem is getting closer, but we'll see if anything happens after this whole incident is taken care of ;)
Next time, as mentioned earlier, Akazukin and the others fight with Gretel then they set off for Fandavale. Be interesting to see exactly what kind of place Fandavale is :)
