Walking along with a Juusi~, juusi~ and a zukkyun~, zukkyun~, Akazukin and the others have no idea where the heck they're going. Luckily for them, a boy named Hans comes by on a cart and gives them a ride to a village nearby. Akazukin wants something to eat (of course), so she asks Hans where they could get a meal... and it so happens that Hans' grandmother runs a cafe. Akazukin wants everything on the menu (^^;;) The meat served is quite jusi~.. juicy, yes ;) While eating, Souta asks Hans' grandmother if she knows the rest of that story about the two worlds -- she says she had a card of some sort that had it, but she can't find it. When everybody's done and it's time to pay up... nobody has any money. Go figure (^^;;)

Meanwhile, at Sandryon's castle, the king sends that mascot, Kyupi, through a portal to find Souta and bring him there. Sandryon doesn't stop him since it'll be quite helpful to her since she can't locate Souta...

Akazukin and the others have no choice but to work to pay their bill off. Shirayuki doesn't want to lift a finger, though, preferring to use her magic. Hans doesn't want her to use magic, though... seems that Hans' parents were mages, and they were killed when nightmarians attacked. That's why he doesn't like magic... After Hans goes to the market with Ringo and Souta to fetch some more things -- Kyupi was on sale (^^;;) -- they see Shirayuki getting more water, this time not using her magic to do it. Suddenly, two big frog nightmarians attack and Shirayuki has to use her magic -- the others come along and help, and without too much work the nightmarians are banished. Hans seems to understand that magic can be good now :)

Anyways, tonight they're going to have rabbit stew! Hans pulls a very scared Kyupi out. After hearing what it is he gives it to Akazukin. Hans' grandmother gives Souta that card she was talking about earlier -- Souta shines when he touches it, but nothing else seems to happen. Once Akazukin puts it in her sweetphone the story on the card starts playing back. So, they're on their way to Sandryon's castle once again, with Kyupi leading the way... to some carrots (^^;;)

I think I have an idea of where we'll be going now -- lots of card collecting which means more opportunities for advertising. I suppose I'll just have to get used to the animation since it looks like it won't recover anytime soon, and the story this time seemed a bit odd as well, but there were still some good things -- Ringo's juusi/juicy, Akazukin's jusi~ while she was skipping along, and Val-sama was funny as usual ;)

Next time, it looks like there's going to be a cute guest character. Y'all know the rule -- so long as it's cute and funny I'll keep on watching :)

I'll admit that laughed out loud when the rabbit hit the tree. The juicy/juushi joke was amusing too. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks their rallying cry sounds like an advertisement for uh, succulent and juicy lolis. As for the final bit, I thought Shirayuki would kiss Hans after she told him to close his eyes.

Hans is probably named after Hans Christian Andersen, who had no magic, only words. But we all know that words have more power, and stories most of all...
